Other reviews say much about the game, mine will be mostly about LotRO Store and Standing Stone Games support when it comes to store problems. SSG support refuses to admit obvious store problems and refuses to solve those. I noticed that I can not purchase anything in the store, because there is no payment methods available for my country. Several years ago I moved to another country, and yes, there are some billing problem in the country from where the account was initially created, but not where I am now. I was trying to figure out what's wrong, even created another account using the same pc and internet connection - and the store worked perfectly on another one. So the problem was obviously in the account preferences. I filed a ticket to the support, describing the problem and asking for help, even proposing multiple ways to fix my problem: changing the country in store account or transferring the character to another account. And then I spent two days getting answers like "your ip address is from the country we do not support", "we would love to help you when you would be in the country our market operates in" and stuff. They did not try to read what I wrote or help in any possible way, just closing my ticket in the end. It might be not the end of the world, but for me it means that I cannot progress in the game anymore on this account and character (in which I already invested quite the time and a bit of money before). I do not know why the super-conservative company like SSG, which does nothing to lure new players, but anything to preserve the current player-base, does not care, but this is a huge red flag for me. This can happen to any of you guys (if you don't live in USA, where SSG resides, I guess). So, the game is great, but the people who are keeping it afloat, are not (or just totally incompetent, which is even worse). And I have to make a hard decision either to drop the game forever or invest more money and time to go all the way again (262 hours at the moment). Thank you SSG customer support.
