I watched a ton of Let's Play videos for CK2. Some of them are over 100 (30 minute) episodes in length. The GOT mod is great, but it was broken recently after the last update. It's probably fixed now. I watched from my throne on Casterly Rock as Lord Hoster Tully, with the help of the North, took the Iron Throne from the Mad King, who had executed Robert Baratheon after his failed rebellion. Long live King Hoster the Fat!!

Nice - did you ever install the Game of Thrones mod? I tried playing it once but didn't persist past the initial complexity. I think I'll take the advice of people online and watch some videos of people teaching you how to play.

I've been playing a lot of Crusader Kings 2 which I've FINALLY started to get the hang of. It's so complicated, but fun. I bought the DLC bundle on sale, and I've been taking over Central Africa as a Mali warlord, with the help of my new Sunni brethren. :)

Thanks for the game! Yeah, I've given up trying to play all the games I buy and accepted my status as a collector :) I think my new year's resolution will be just to at least open every game and try it once.

Yeah, that interval where you have finished one game and haven't fallen in love with another one is tough. I just finished the first Penny Arcade episode, and am considering playing Rayman Origins next. I played the demo and loved it instantly.

You can keep your Portal love alive with the user-generated levels :) There is even a subreddit for it, where you can see which ones people recommend the most.

Sure thing. Oblivion was great, but I never finished it. I spent more time creating characters than playing them. Like Skyrim and Fallout, there's a ton of great mods, too.

I am officially suffering from post-Portal depression. I can't decide what to play next. Been playing Torchlight a bit, which is pretty good, but ... not really a thinking game. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sigh ... first-world problems.
