This is a qualified yes... The campaign's short and disappointing. I want to see more unit variety. More variety and replayabliity in general...

But it's Homeworld. And it looks like it'll be a good scaffold for the mods which will bring in the variety I want to see. Overall, I'd recommend getting this one on sale and expecting another year before the replayable bits are up to the standard I'd want to see.

Don't buy if you're going to play solo. If you're willing to kill and be killed by others, get this ASAP. It's an amazing game that knows exactly what it wants to be.

A solid autobattler. Plenty of viable strategies, and a good cadence to the games.

Solid game. Would be better if one could save/load in multiplayer matches.

Solid incremental game with a variety of progression systems.

Solid tactical game, and worth your time.

Perhaps the best bullet heaven game yet. Very much worth buying and playing.

Not perfect, but a perfectly reasonable J(style)RPG. And it's hard to beat the Nekaroos!
