I've only played this game for 5h so far but I absolutely love it. Swinging around NYC is so much fun and the story is interesting, plus there's plenty of good side quests. Highly recommend.

A great story, now beautifully remastered!

Mafia 2 the game has a brilliant storyline and I have already completed the regular non-"definitive edition" previously. I recommend playing that. However, after playing Mafia 1: Definitive Edition and being impressed with the quality of the remaster I was excited to play the sequel remastered. Unfortunately Mafia 2: Definitive Edition has not been remastered to the same level, and as a result there's not much point in the Definitive Edition existing - you might as well play the original which is cheaper, less buggy, and looks pretty similar (from what I remember). I wish they did this one properly too...

To summarise: the game is great, this remaster is pathetic.

A masterpiece

A classic from Valve. The storyline is really engaging, with funny characters, assuming that you haven't heard any spoilers. Some of the levels are really challenging, and you can get bored and look at tutorials online after a while, but altogether a good game!

A fun simulator. Hard game at first but once you get the hang of it, it's a good game. Although having said that I haven't played it in years and don't have any urge to so take that as you will... can't fault it for being free though :)
