Hands down one of the greatest games I have ever played.

You got the amazing combat of previous Fromsoft games, a ridiculously huge open world that seems to be multiple times the size of Skyrim and way more densely packed than any Bethesda map.
The main story will easily keep you entertained for 50-80h, and thanks to the open world it's much less frustrating than previous titles since every time you hit a wall, you can just go and do something else, get stronger and come back later.

For Lore nerds there's a lot of background info to be found throughout the world, from item descriptions, NPC dialogues, or sometimes even certain design decisions in the open world or on enemies. You can spend countless hours trying to piece thee story together.

All in all I think it's difficult to find a similar game the scope and quality of elden ring, definitely worth your money, the technical difficulties have been worked out for the most part, at least I no longer have any issues. One negative point though is the fact that the game is capped to 60 FPS, that's just not how you deliver a PC game in 2022.
