Pure cinema

It's not significantly harder than the base game if you follow the rule of "if a mob or boss 2-shots me I have to go explore elsewhere" and gather the scadutree fragments.

TL;DR: Game gets old fast.

Up to the first boss the game is amazing, then it's the same until the end of the game.

Combat encounters are the same from start to finish. This game's idea of hard is constantly throwing trash mobs at you.

The feeling of progression also suffers unless you use some broken build. Any mob you see is reused throughout the game, but re-scaled. If a dog 2-shots you in the start, it would even in the endgame, regardless of your HP and Armor. The same trash zombie that the game throws at you will always take 2 hits to kill and you kill about 30 per hour.

Absolute masterpiece, all the endings are worth gettings, especially the real ending

According to steam charts this is the most played CoD game on steam.

Do NOT buy it for multiplayer. The first match I got in was with a hacker, after that I could not find a game for 30+ minutes.
If you do find a lobby, it will load to 100% and boot you back to the menu 9 out of 10 times.

Update:
They added DRM that tanks performance and breaks linux support entirely.

Even with a clean reinstall, the game flat out refuses to start after the Sunbreak update - even after going through all the troubleshooting steps. It blows my mind that these companies get away with stuff like this.

The worst part of this game is the sadness you will feel once it's over, knowing you cannot experience it blindly all over again
