I don't have friends to play DnD with.

I like the direction that AGS has taken New World so far after a disastrous launch. The game is getting better, bugs are getting fixed, and new content is getting released. There is a lot of room for improvement and the end game can get stale, but it is worth giving New World another chance!

A little difficult to play solo

This remaster adds significant quality of life improvements from the original: being able to walk on crops makes it easier to plan the field, livestock don't need to be manually put back into their coop/barn at night after grazing, items now stack, etc. However, I also noticed that rival marriages and some heart events were taken out, thereby omitting some story of the bachelor(ette)'s lives. Keyboard/mouse controls are okay, some can be remapped, but the game is best played with a controller.

Overall a good modernization of a classic. Bonus points for nostalgia if you played the original Harvest Moon version(s).
