This game is awesome. I was constantly impressed with how this game handles difficulty. There are definitely difficulty spikes throughout the game, but those are features, not bugs. Usually it requires reevaluating your strategy and team composition and trying new strategies. This forces you to constantly recontextualize what is powerful. The game also expects you to do this and grants you all the tools to do so, such as resetting skill tree, improving vendor gear, and providing items to automatically catch up low level monsters.

I would really recommend keeping a notebook of ideas for teams and strategies to try and then taking 30 minutes every time you hit a wall to explore one of those ideas. It was so satisfying to do so.

Definitely the best 'survivors'-like out right now. Can't wait for 1.0!

This game was incredible. I played almost entirely with a controller on steam deck. If you have a bluetooth mouse handy it will make inventory management much easier. The story was whatever, but the dopamine was fire.

This is the best games we're still playing 10 years later. The sidequests are where this game absolutely shines.

Boss rush, bullet hell, roguelike. A great combo of all 3. If you think you'll like this one, you probably will.

This game was really interesting until you get to a Somnium where your game CONSTANTLY CRASHES!!!! After 10 crashes and going through forum posts to find bug fixes I had to stop playing. There is no workaround. This game has been out for 1 and half years this is ridiculous.
