While it is true that this game has a few issues (primarily, that hitting escape in the beginning of the game causes a game-breaking bug). There were also some issues with slightly phasing through assets- for instance, leaning on the house causes you to see the inside of the house when you are not supposed to. ALSO, this might be a bug only I found, but if you attempt to do portions of the game out of order, it can cause you to "fall" endlessly in a developer scene.

With that being said, I REALLY enjoyed the game and am so impressed that this is Nebula Nova's First game!! I have played first games that were completely uninteresting or entirely broken. The game is atmospheric, had nice jump scares, and I love that the real horror is that to own a house as a millennial, you have to sell your soul to the devil. I also loved how sections of the game looked, especially the area underneath the house! (Trying to keep it spoiler free!)

I am super excited to see what else these developers may come up with! Thank you Lurkit and Nebula Nova games for letting me play your game! This is a great start to the addition of Indie Horror games!

Wow, thank you so much for this thoughtful playthrough and kind words! We're incredibly grateful for your sensitivity to this being our first game and for flagging those bugs, your reports were super helpful. We’ve released a patch that addresses the Escape crash at the start, reduces the clipping/phasing issues (including the house peek), and adds safeguards against falling into the developer scene when doing things out of order.

Hearing that the atmosphere, jump scares, and the “millennial house-owning” horror landed for you made our day, that’s exactly the vibe we were going for. Your support truly motivates the whole Nebula Nova crew and helps us keep making games that lead to many great game nights. From all of us (and Lurkit too), a huge, genuine thank you!
