When I heard this game was in development, I was beyond ecstatic. I pre-ordered this game in 2016, and upon release, the game was... not in a good state. The developers got review bombed terribly, and I was one of those people that ended up refunding the game because I was disappointed.

Fast forward 4 years, I bought the game again hearing that it "was good now", and it's true. Hello Games never gave up on No Man's Sky! The state of the game now is absolutely incredible, it is way beyond my expectations, and it is without a doubt that the developers truly care for the community and their game.

The graphics are wonderful, the gameplay is smooth. Progression is simple and feels linear, the tutorial is intuitive and helpful. For some reason, I just never tire of wandering around landscapes of all extremes, wondering what oddity I'll find next. Also you can build BIG AWESOME SPACE BASES. The building system is the smoothest I've ever experienced. Who doesn't like that?
