Sekiro without all the dumb trash mob fights, the only bad thing is that there's not more, but it's free. Would kill for updates that add more bosses. 10/10 highly recommend.

I came into this game thinking that I'd hate it for the change in setting and the removal of comic book style cutscenes. I was gladly mistaken, as this game has become my favorite in the series, even over the first game. Definitely recommend.

I have never been so obsessed with a game in my entire life. This game demands perfection from you in its mechanics. And when you finally reach that perfection, you feel a rush like no other. However it is a long grind to even begin defeating bosses. Timing and strategy are key. The music gets your heart pumping. The sound effects satisfying, especially on perfect parries. The locales are beautiful. 10/10 game.

I was gifted this game from a friend who I believe received it as part of a humble bundle pack. I took a quick look at the screenshots, and I was instantly interested. At first I imagined I'd play it for about twenty minutes, say 'that was fun!' And be done with it. But I didn't expect to be as thrilled with it as I am. And I can say right now that I'll be going for 100% achievements with this game.

As I'm a huge fan of both the Super-Famicom and racing games, both arcade and simulation, this game just brought me back to the days where I was sitting at home with the CRT TV jammed against my eyes, cross legged on the floor.

The music is a fantastic mix of synthwave that mixes well with the screeching of tyres and engines revving! And the artistic styling is perfect for that retro-feel, reminding me of why I was just so impressed with the Super-Famicom's Mode 7 chip.

Jumping straight into the game, you feel a little overloaded at first, but that quickly passes with some experimentation. I didn't see the tutorial and played through two races with the AI just blasting past me. But once I saw them drifting, I realized that there was more to the mechanics than just brake, accelerate, and turning left and right. The drifting is intuitive, and only took me a few corners of trial and error to really nail it. And slipstreaming, as the game implies this mechanic, really boosts your speed to give you a rush!

Couple all this with a bunch of different modes to try out, one of which is a choose-your-own-course style endurance style race against rivals with different course themes, and branching paths with different course endings, and it really has a lot of replayability.

The only complaints I have are that, even after just an hour or so in the game, the medium difficulty AI feel too easy, and I wish there were a few more harder difficulties to help boost that.

I've spent more time in this game than I have some AAA games and that's saying something. Not completely terrible. I can see myself playing it as a sort of idle game like some people play clicker games. For $.99 it's a pretty good game.

In its early state, there definitely are some kinks that need to be worked out. Gamebreaking bugs. Non-gamebreaking bugs. Balance issues. Etc.

But if you're able to look past those things in its alpha state, it's actually quite enjoyable, especially when you have a team that works together and isn't toxic. And to ensure that you aren't one of those players, make sure you read the user manual, even if it's just a skim through. A basic knowledge of how objectives work on different game modes, and how each others classes work can really make or break a team. The rest comes from experience. Be it knowing when to hunker down and hold the line, break contact, or take a more aggressive approach.

Once you have those key elements down though, it's easy to have fun with it. One team suppresses while the other flanks around. Defending an objective from enemy forces. All of it has its fun, even if you're on the losing side. Most games tend to be close, anyway, cutting it within a few tickets each.

At the end of the day, with the constant updates to the game, and with unreal's engine still being in its baby stages, this game hold a lot of potential.

Someone held me up, ordered me to take off my pants, then told me to go outside because the pants were "still highly explosive."

I did as I was told after taking everything out of the pants.

He took the pants into his backpack, then logged out leaving me pantsless outside of an apartment building.

10/10.
