The gameplay of this one is not as good as the first one. The design of the areas takes a backseat to the story and the cutscenes, which can't be skipped. And the Save Points can be hours apart in places.

It concludes the cliffhanger of Soul Reaver so it is worth playing. I had one bug which made me redo 30 mins or so but only one. If you make sure you have at least an hour and a half each time you play, you should be good.

The remaster may be better for controller, this one needs a mod and some tinkering with the button layout.

There is some difficulty in this game from the jumping in certain areas. Without practice, it may be a little frustrating to repeat some of the sections, because of a failed jump. If you're ok with that, the remaster or this, if they add it back to the store, is well worth playing through.

Yeah, not bad if you can get it for cheap. There is a Steam Guide to push the fps up to whatever number you like so if 62 is not high enough for you, check that guide out. It takes 10 seconds to do.

Always been great, still great after all DLC's, a game I can always come back to and play. Add in some co-op shenanigans and Mods and we have an amazing re-playable masterpiece. 400 hours in and I still haven't got all of the post-it notes (unlocks) filled out.
So many achievements. too. Well worth the money.

This looks like it will be pretty good. I'm unsure of length because of the map we can see. It may not be super long. The only negative is that the Prologue hacks into your browser and opens it without asking; I've never been a fan of that.

Seven hours of stuff to do as of 11th Sept 2024. Tough Bosses to deal with. This is pretty good for early access because the price is nice. Having two different ripostes, for after a well timed parry/deflect, to choose depending on spacing, is something I haven't seen before. I recommend this.

Very nice. Comedy, emotional moments, interesting premise; this is a good mellow game.

This game is really, really good. It's just as great as those other amazing metroidvanias you may be thinking of. For full price or for discounted, it's unlikely anyone will be disappointed by this one. There are difficulty modifiers if they're needed but with perseverance, anyone should be able to complete this game.

This is very good. I love the Art. The story is good. The comedy is well done. The length is good for the price. And there is a good chance you may feel emotions reading it. Hopefully, you want all that. Recommended.

It didn't feel particularly coherent throughout to me. The ambience, radio and graphical style, elevates this game somewhat but gameplay wise; it is not worth paying much for. I think I got it for super cheap in a bundle, which is good because I would have been disappointed if I had paid any more than that.
