Rushed, janky mess of a remaster. Somehow runs worse than the original that came out in the 90's without looking much better!? Textures look to have been up-scaled with AI and still look bad. Every light source has some enormous bloom effect that looks cheap and the shadows are pretty much non-existent despite having SSAO?. The worst offender is the FOV that is zoomed in so far that you can't see the gun models. Cut-scenes are also zoomed in and the models just kinda 'teleport' into place a second after the scene starts. I'm not sure who decided this was good enough to release!? Don't waste your money.

This is an excellent return of a much loved series! I would go as far to say it's the best game in the series, beating SoR 1 and 2 that i have loved playing since the 90's.

The game play is satisfying and each move has weight behind it and you can really feel the hits connect. There is also a varied roster of characters to choose from and even some hidden retro characters from previous games to unlock. It's not overly long but is pretty challenging even on Medium. There are a few easter eggs to discover on some levels that fans of the series will appreciate. As with previous games, this is best played with a friend. The Steam version allows you to share the game with someone on your friends list so you only have to buy one copy to get into co-op!

The artwork and animation shown in the early trailers always looked a bit underwhelming and flash-game-like to me, but the final product looks amazing with lots of extra polish and detail and has some really cool lighting effects on the 2D characters. The levels are well drawn and have tons of detail. You can find several tributes to well known Sega games on the walls in some of the levels.

The soundtrack is great, particularly the storm boat and Y tower levels (the lift part). If you don't enjoy the new music then you can switch to classic tracks from previous games from within the options menu.

If you love retro, co-op, beat-em-ups then this is a must have.

Dante's cowboy hat weapon is enough reason to play this game through at least once.

I'm not a massive Fallout fan but this is actually pretty good imo. Plays/controls really well and is much more immersive than the standard Fallout 4.

The visuals are a bit soft, I'd recommend sharpening the TAA with an .ini tweak.

This also works fine with Oculus Headsets despite not listing them as compatible on the store page. I have been playing using a Rift S without any problems or additional fixes.

Glad to see this back on Steam! This is one of my top 5 games of all time. Great story and atmosphere. It might not be as refined as modern sandbox games but this has aged pretty well and still looks and plays fantastic.

Before you spend money on this game, please note:

1.) Textures are set to 'low' regardless of what settings you use in the graphics options - this is due to a bug that was introduced in the last update. To fix it, you will need to acquire a 'hacked' config file. and overwrite the original in the .\Ghosts\players2\ folder.

2.) Vsync (in-game or via the NVIDIA control panel) causes FMV's to stutter to an unwatchable level, and also makes the game show a black screen on every load (starting the game, changing settings etc) - you need to Alt+Tab a few times to get the image to come back.

3.) On the mission 'End of the Line' (ironic) there is a game breaking bug that causes a 'crash to desktop' every single time, making it impossible to progress. Simply looking in a certain direction triggers the crash - no fixes are being worked on.

I'm not usually one to complain about the quality of PC games, but this really takes the biscuit. Seriously, buy something else with your money...

A nice Cyberpunk Adventure/Beat em up. Takes around 9 hours to complete the 8 missions. Great looking environments and a captivating story. My only gripe is that the combat can be very repetitive. 7/10
