Fantastic game all around. The story is compelling and full of great characters. You know that feeling you get when you finish watching a TV series or reading a book and you feel empty inside? This game does that to you. I got so into this game, and now that I've finished the main story, I feel a void in my life. I don't have very much to look forward to when I have some freetime anymore (until I find a new game that can do this to me). Before it was "ok sweet I have a couple hours to kill, let's see what Geralt of Rivia is up to", but now I know damn near everything he has been up to. The backstory is complicated at first; playing the Witcher 2 and reading the wiki helped me catch on, but there are so many sub-plots involved that it's still takes a bit of your own effort to figure out what's going on if you don't know already.

Literally the only con I can think of is that the combat gets a little easy after playing it for a hundred hours, so be sure to change your characater build up a little to keep things interesting. I struggled with the combat at first, but I finished the game mowing down every enemy on Death March because of how OP I was able to build Geralt.

Also, there are two romance options in the game, Yen and Triss; however, you cannot romance the best woman in the game because she is your daughter or something like that.
