I really enjoyed it, feels like a nice polished experience. Combat feels quite good, especially how you can refund your ability points at any time and try new combinations of abilities. Story was also quite interesting and held my interest if a bit tooo depressing in general. Visuals and world design is pretty good, and all the towns and places feel pretty alive, although I wish it wasn't so many places weren't so... grey and desaturated in general. Music has a few bangers.

Very unique approach to a puzzle game, and the puzzles and story are approached in quite clever ways. I got to room 46 and explored a few more things without having looked anything up until this point, and felt quite satisfying to figure things out, but the same elements that make it unique are also wearing me out enough to not feel like doing post-game puzzles.

The biggest problem with it is one I've seen many people also say, which is that sometimes you want to solve a puzzle or explore something and the RNG simply will not be on your side. You are given a chunk of tools to improve your odds and your "explorability", but if you need one room to spawn next to another, or a specific item on at a specific time, there are no guarantees, no matter how many dice you save up. I would say this maybe isn't a problem on the first playthrough, but it becomes really annoying in the post-game when you no longer have that initial "exploration wonder" and you just really want to do specific things and you can't, day after day. Would be nice to be able to guarantee a room without having to get lucky to lower their rarity, or guarantee and item without having to put it in a coat check and then having to be lucky enough to get the coat check to spawn...

Overall, really cool unique game, but I wish the roguelite elements eased up once you "beat" it.

It's cheap so I won't really complain too much but I was expecting more of a puzzle game and less of "find the pixels". It also didn't help that not even with the hint I was able to understand what the first actual puzzle expected me to do. Then you get to the jigsaw segment and you have a bunch of identically shaped blue pieces with the exact same lens flare on all of them and you basically just have to guess.

It felt like a game with cute ideas but poor execution.

I thought this game was incredibly creative and interesting with fun puzzles and world building. The setting, interface, art and music all felt very fitting and the way the story was incorporated into it was done pretty well. However, I absolutely hated the ending, even it that doesn't take away from the game being really good.

*** Spoiler warning ***

Even with the warning I'll be vague as to not give much away since story is important, but I thought the ending was incredibly unsatisfactory given everything that led up to it. It made absolutely no sense as to why you ever, EVER open the last game given everything that had happened until then, and I hated how it basically ended on a pity party for someone who was honestly pretty much irredeemable given their actions, especially given who they framed. It was just a completely bitter way to end the game in my opinion. I think I would have actually come out of it more satisfied if opening the last program made your headset explode, because why would ever, EVER open it??? I can't get over that...

Fun game. Still has a few basic glitches despite being around for a long time, which is odd. DLC is more of the same, and the few things it adds aren't super interesting (like haggling), but overall I enjoyed it.
