This game is truly amazing, my favorite Trails of Cold Steel Chapter and one of the best Jrpg that I've played.

After the cliffhanger of CS2 it's only natural to be hyped about this game and it delivers an experiencie worth the expectation. A new engine that provides way better graphics than the first two games, new battle mechanics and other improvments that make the gaming experience smooth to enjoy the awesome plot, added with new great soundtracks and characters. Makes this game undoubtedly worth buying if you played the first two.

The first improvement that we can notice, because of the new Rean's situation, is that the cast is smaller than the previus games, making easier to empathize with this new characters and a better participation on story events than with a larger cast, which make dificult to the writers to give relevance to all of then. Even the old characters that had more presence in previus games here they have, even with less screen time, a better participation on plot events.

Valimar's participaion is very pontual this time, unlike CS2 that Valimar appears in every battle in this game he only appears when makes sense, and with the improviments of battle system is really more enjoable to play the mecha battles.

There are some crossovers with other trails games that also helps to enjoy this game.

Rean being more mature definetly improve the storytelling too.
