Ark is a game that will make you feel many things. Initially you will feel frustration at your helplessness as you spawn nude on a beach at level one and can barely fend off the smallest of dinosaurs. Then you will meet people, these people will either be total jerks and just kill you over and over, or they will be really chill, and you'll form a tribe with them. You will spend countless hours with these people: farming materials, taming dinosaurs, and build bases. You will grow more and more in power. You will be meeting other players either passing through the server or settling down. You will know all the other tribes on the server that are worth knowing (i.e. the big tribes or friendly tribes). You will come across numerous other cultures as you find Chinese tribes and Spanish tribes, French and German, all while growing more and more powerful. You will on occassion have a set back, but at this point you're on a roll and now the games mechanics, have a good group of friends, and objectives that you have given yourself. You will feel happy with what you have accomplished.

But there is a downside. There must always be conflict, while it can be delayed for long periods of time, it will eventually come. And so another tribe will pick a fight with you. Your tribe will fight their tribe, and you may lose or you may win. Either way you've invested a lot into this server and these friends, so you'll never give up. Some other tribes will jointhe fight, picking sides. The winning side will probably kill all the dinos, take all the mats, and kill everyone on the losing side. Thus you have won your first war. You are now a power on the server worth being reckoned with. Soon enough, you'll get in an even bigger war as the losing side draws more and more people to aide them and you respond by getting more as well. Now the entire server is split 50-50, and a great war mars the server for days as both sides are constantly wiping one anothers bases. Eventually you'll win though, and the other side will leave the server. They'll be fed up. As the enemies are now gone, you are happy once more. You hated them just as they hated you.

Now a long period of peace has passed, a couple weeks. There is trouble brewing as a few of your allies are begin to grow wrestless and have infighting. Peace will try to be maintained through talks. But it will fail in the end, and more war will arise. This cycle will continue until only 2 tribes remain. These two tribes will be dominant in every regard: leadership, tactics, dinosaurs, and materials. Pitted against one another to see who will rule the server. You will fight your heart out against your former allies. You will destroy bases you'd once entered as a friend, now as an enemy. You will kill dinos whose names you helped come up with. You and your tribemates will be cycling out who gets to sleep because the battle will last over 24 hours. The fight will go on and on and on and on with no end. It will be exhilerating.

Then you win. Then you are the supreme ruler of the server. You are standing over the ruins of your former allies as you have proved yourself to be the mightiest. But then it will hit you. The sadness. As now all the people you had once known, months ago when you were just a little tribe starting out, will all be gone. Everyone you'd ever fought with and fought against are gone. While there is some joy in victory, it is very bitter as there is no one left to share it with. Your tribemates will still play, but it's not the same. Even if not in your tribe, you had a community. Friends. Foes. Maybe even lovers. Now all that is gone. You will pass the ruins of these once great tribes and feel a hole in your heart. New people will always arrive to challenge you, but you'll always beat them down. Destroying any hope they had. You'll build fortresses that'll reach the Heavens and have so many dinos it'll cause server lag. You'll build Great Walls across vast territories in order to denote your power. Finally, you'll get bored and leave.

Months will pass, and one day you'll see Ark still in your library and hop back on. You'll log back into your old server. Everything is different. New names, faces, bases, everything. Not a single structure you had built is left standing, not a single ruin. All of it is gone. The people on this server see you log in and ask if you want to join their tribe saying that 'Ark can be harsh for noobs', but you could never tell them. You could never tell them an entire servers history. The hundreds of thousands of hours of work you'd seen put in by that ancient world. The structures they couldn't ever even imagine. The wars you'd fought and people you'd met. You could never explain to them what it all had meant to you, for it is all now gone. In it's place is a new world, completely distinct from the original while maintaining a strong similarity. You will be both extremely happy at this new world, and profoundly sad about the world that was lost.

Ark Survival Evolved will demand dozens of hours to just get the basics down and get priorities straight. To become a power on a server will take about a hundred hours. To conquer a server will take a couple hundred hours. To realize everything you lost and destroyed that you once held dear will take thousands of hours. To atone for everything you'd done to those you once called friends will take an eternity.

If you'll pour time and effort, no game will ever make you feel as strongly about the decisions you've made than Ark: Survival Evolved. Beware that you may get addicted and lose your real social life and ambitions in exchange for this game. But you'll meet people you'd never have met otherwise, see things you never thought possible, commit acts that would make tyrants think you're true evil or saints believe you are the second coming of Jesus Christ. In the end, you'll feel stronger emotions then any you've ever felt from playing a game.

10/10 Masterpiece.

You think every single review here is fake and they're all salty cheaters?
I thought so too.

Recently, Rockstar decided to remove cash from players' accounts because "they have illegitimate money."
The last two weeks were really good for GTA:O with profitable events and discounts, making money wasn't so bad.
But the moment they released Smuggler's Run trailer, they started purging accounts.
They literally "stole" 8.7 million from me. Some people lost 150k, some lost 20+ million. This is not PC exclusive, people lost money on PS and XBOX too.
I'm not saying all these people are innocent but i know i've been playing my *ss off (activity;280 hours past 2 weeks) but apperantly they don't like it when you earn too much. I still have decent amount of money, but that doesn't change the fact that they stole cash from my account out of nowhere. Too much real life parody there.

I lost millions because of the business bugs, glitches. (Supplies never arrive, 75k worth of supplies produce 63k worth of product, no production even though business is active etc...)
I lost millions because Import/Export bugs. (Vehicle starts burning for no reason, sometimes 15 minute delivery timer reduces itself to 2-3 minutes. When you're about to sell, a long loading screen then cars are gone or invisible,etc... )

I lost hours, when you're done with a sale, sometimes you receive "Transaction Error, price is invalid." or "Transaction error, too much activity in your account." I'm sure that was suppose to be against modders. Guess what? I play legit, i get an error. In the next session a modder's dropping 50k cash every 30 seconds. What happened to my business? I lost some of my product, recieved no money. I can try selling it again and hope i won't get any errors this time.

What about Rockstar Support?
They're worse than Nexon.
Nexon doesn't give a sh*t.
Rockstar doesn't give a sh*t plus they damage your in-game experience.

I sent about six tickets, i got three different responses. No, it's not because they ignore your ticket. They have a support catalog or something where they copy&paste the best answer for your question.

Please take a look at these reponses. These are real.

Response for the transaction errors. "We're good, your connection is sh*t, go away" response; https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/08/27/review1.jpg

Response for the lost Import/Export vehicles. I don't know what to think about this;
https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/08/27/review2.jpg

Reponse for the second lost Import/Export vehicles. Now, there're a lot of scumbag youtube "content creators" out there. They give people tips on "How to get free cash from Rockstar Support" you know, clickbait bullsh*t.Now, i get this treatment because of that.
https://www.imageupload.co.uk/images/2017/08/27/review3.jpg

This is Rockstar Support for you.
I've had similar issues last year, but they actually helped back then, sent me the money i lost and stuff. I don't know what changed this year.

"Oh, you've played 1800 hours, you got your money's worth." That's not how it works. That playtime includes loading screens, connection errors and my no-life grinding... They make truckloads of money from Shark Cards and they keep releasing new content. But with every new update, the game gets more outrageous and exploitative.

Shark Card prices weren't enough. OpenIV scandal, ridiculous drip feeding content and now this.
DLCs in this game are NOT free unless you play (grind) 5-6 hours a day.
The fandoms on Rockstar forums are pathetic.
This game is not worth it,even for single player. They still haven't released a single thing for the single player.
Do not support this corporate nonsense.
I'd say it's a shame because the game is really good but nope, i have nothing good to say.

Stay away from this company.

Update: Now they constantly change vehicle stats, can you guess why? They released a supercar that costs 2.4 million. It was faster than anything else in it's class, but for a week. It's third now. Again, more exploitative behaviour from Rockstar..
If you have any doubts, read the review comments.

For me, this version is an improvement. I mostly play skyrim vanilla, and the graphics are noticeably better. The forests feel more like forests because there is more foilage. The lightning is very beautiful and the 64bit is a good improvement. The only but is, I wouldnt buy it for this money. I'd love some extra content. Still, skyrim is one of my ever favourites.9/10

Better Late Than DEAD is a survival adventure game developed by Odin Game Studios, being published on Steam in July of 2015 on Early Access.

As we have come all too familiar with the survival genre of games; you start off as a single character, dropped in the middle of nowhere and you are expected to survive. Games of this genre are often a hit from the start or just flop straight away. Unfortunately Better Late Than DEAD does not have a very bright future in my eyes.

Gameplay is…well, almost none existent. I started out in the ocean and had to swim at least five minutes before I got to any sort of land. I spent almost an hour exploring the island, finding a couple of houses, and that is it. Whilst exploring the houses I found that each of them had their own loot, strangely enough, the houses were all an exact copy of each other and the loot was spawned in exactly the same place. The loot that I found were again, everything you would expect to find in this type of game, cans of food, bandages, knives, etc. As far as game play goes, that is it. There is absolutely nothing else to do in this game; I didn’t find any animals, enemies, nothing.

The graphics are bad to say the least; the screenshots really shows the game in a different light to how it actually looks in real time. Awfully low quality textures on almost everything, the water certainly doesn’t look like how it does in the screenshots, and neither does the skybox. On top of the poor graphics, the animation side of the game is horrible; your character has just an awful run cycle that looks like some sort of jelly man was used to rig it – also this game features possibly one of the highest jumping ability I have ever seen in a game, I swear I was jumping up entire flights of stairs in one go… It should also be known, that from jumping, I managed to break my leg in the game twice and die from it once – lord knows how.

At the beginning of the game, I was presented with a cut scene that sets up for a quite interesting story; but that is it. After that intro, I found no other plot elements, or anything. I was particularly disappointed as I would have really liked to have seen more of it. Hopefully the developers will be adding something in via patches in the future on this aspect.

Better Late Than DEAD also has some audio problems. Whilst playing the game, you will have the same repetitive soundtrack playing in the background, and when it loops, boy do you notice it. There is an obvious cut in the track, and it just starts playing again; this for me seemed like a really basic issue which should not be seen in the game, it really ruined the game’s immersion (the little it actually had).

I really expected the world I was in to be full of interesting environments and buildings to explore, but sadly due to the copy/paste nature shown in the game, it all seemed to blur together and nothing really stood out as interesting. All of the buildings are exactly the same layout, tress look exactly the same, it just looks like someone has gone in and press CTRL A CTRL V over and over again to make it seem like the world is huge.

Sadly the game is very poorly optimized. Whilst the game has the options to run on all resolutions up to 4k, it certainly doesn’t run well. Playability is none existent at 4k, so I had to drop it to 1080p, and even then, I was not able to reach 60 fps and that is with my monster rig. This needs to be the top of their agenda at the very least.

At the time of writing this review, I have been playing for just over two hours; I honestly don’t see myself jumping into the game any time again soon, unless there are some major changes and improvements on what the game currently has. The last update to the game from what I can see is 18th November 2015, and even then, only two new additions to the game were added. If anyone is interested in the survival genre, there are definitely games out there that are still in early access, and are in a much much better state than this game at the moment. Even though the game is retailing for £6,99, I still cannot recommend this game. It may improve, but it is going to take a lot for it to be even worthy of that low price.

I bought UK DVD version of this game so I dont know if my review will be summarised by Steam, but it must be seen anyway. However, here I will nost just describe Fallout New Vegas, but I will compare with F3 and F4 and also will make some conclusion about all of it.
I will start from small introduction. First Fallout game for me, which I ever played, was Fallout 3. Well, I have born in 1993 and actually had no PC in 90s. I got my first PC something about 2004 (or 2003, I dont remeber) and unfortunatelly, I haven't played Fallout 1-2 in that times. Release of Fallout 3 ressurected whole series and showed them to the new generation of players. Even it was not the best Fallout game. But it wasn't that bad and still it was good introduction to the series/Fallout universe. I liked this game personally, even I had not too much experience of role-playing games on that times (except of Diablo II, which is not exactly true role-playing game lol). So, for me it was OK. But then, I grew up and explored another RPG games (For example, I played a lot in TES:IV Oblivion). I even tried to play Fallout 1-2 but... Well, turn-based combat was not my favorite gameplay (I only liked it in XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within).
But then Fallout New Vegas came out. Well, for the first time I couldnt understand how great this game is. But later... I finally saw it and now I admire it. I think it's one of the best role-playing games ever made. I cant sayt its better than F1-2. But I dont think its worse than F1-2. It actually has big variety of everything which must be in true RPG, also world is made very well and very logical and straight to the original lore of F1-2.
And now will be a lot of criticism of F3 and F4 but first of all, everyone has to say himself, what he/she wants from Fallout games. You see, Fallout 1-2 are great rpg games. I mean true rpg, games of choice. Fallout 3 is not bad shooter with rpg elements. Fallout 4 is a shooter with a bit of RPG elements. If you dont care if Fallout is shooter or it is RPG, then you will disagree with me, of course. But me personally, I see Fallout series as RPG games. And lack of role-play, I mean true role-play, in F3-4, it is that makes this games not so good like F1-2 and NV. Also, there are some another things. Majority of players doesnt see them but... I will say about it. You see, Fallout 3, for example, looks like some strange one of its kind. Its not exactly Fallout game like 1-2 and not exactly the Elder Scrolls (hello, Bethesda!.
Its pretty strange game speaking of post-war atmosphere and locations itself. Its like you want to make great coctail. But you have no idea how it must be done, only suggestion. So you are taking all components but making them not in right proportion and so on... Fallout 3 has Enclave, super-mutants, radiation and wasteland, but it has very bad portraing of post-nuclear world. Same to Fallout 4. Its a long topic but I will say it in short way:
1) There are lot of buildings which are in not too bad condition and still no one are living in them. Its like its pos-nuclear setting so people have to live in some terrible self-made houses and there must be ruins where no one is living, with no reason at all.
2)There are no green grass/trees etc.
It looks like its 20-30 years passed after the war. But not 2 centuries. But according to the lore, its 2 centuries. There was wasteland in F1-2 because action was taking place in the California. Im not from USA but Im more or less familair with California climate. And DC and Boston... Yes, bombs fell. But 2 centuries! Bombs have not fell everywhere. It means there must be large areas untouched by war. With nature and flora and fauna. And you know, Radiation itself IS NOT too terrific for plants and trees. Look at Chernobyl! Why there are so many dead trees in Boston? If trees are dead since Great War, they must be not just rotten already, they must even not exist anymore, lol.
This environment stuff is so weird just like Enclave stuff in Fallout 3. Enclave was destroyed in F2 but just because its Fallout game there must be Enclave. So lets put them in the game. Like I said - all components of F1-2 just mixed up somehow.

And now lets go back to the Mojave Wasteland. Fallout New Vegas is my favorite game in whole series. Its nice and much complex game than F3. First of all, its not shooter with rpg elements. Its RPG with shooter elements! Here you can make a big variety of roleplay with really different and multiple endings. Its even more adult game. You can gamble, take who.res, take drugs, and in the main quest tou can join Caesar'a legion and make Nevada really terrible place of slavery and terror. Or you can be a knight in shiny armor. A lot of side-quests have good variety of choice as well. Also there a new reputation system along regions/towns of Mojave Desert. You can be remembered as a hero in one town and as some maniac in another. It also works for factions. You are friend of New California Republic and enemy of Caeser's Legion. And so on. And all in-game world is made in logical way. Finally, we can see how society is ressurecting because 2 centuries are passed after Great War. We can meet soldiers of New California Republic. We can visit New Vegas, even it was untouched by war. But anyway, it looks much better than DC wasteland and Boston...

Fallout 4... Well. I haven't played it. I only saw youtube walkthroughts and spoke with friends who played. Well... Its NOT, defenitely NOT good roleplaying game. Its even less RPG than Fallout 3. My friend completed Fallout 3, NV, 4. As he says, NV is good RPG game, and F4 is really bad. There is no variety at all, even endings are almost the same. There are no such variety in role-play and dialogues and so on. I even dont need to play it to see how this game made! I saw new dialogue system. It was enough. There are some good moments in this game, but we cant speak about it like about good RPG. As shooter with RPG elements its OK. There are some things which are really made good, I mean some cut-scenes and so on. For example, all pre-war introduction looks good. Also, I can say same about vault-introduction in F3.

DLCs for Fallout 3 are kinda good. Kinda, because Mothership Zeta and Operation Alaska or whatever its called are just shooters. I find them boring because its not Call of Duty or something like this. Playing shooter on fallout 3 engine and with its mechanics... Not the best choice.
DLC for New Vegas are great. They are giving a lot of original quests (specially Old World Blues), good plot, RPG elements and so on. They are actually connected with major storyline and together with it they are creating complete story about courier and his way throught the conflict in the Mojave wasteland.

If someone read it all, well, I'm pleased. And I will be glad to read what you are thinking about all that.

DO NOT replicate real life snow sports what so ever. The funny thing is I have snowboarded all my life and didn't even care much for skiing, so I was dissappointed that snowboarding isn't in the game yet, but I went ahead and purchased anyways because I couldn't wait any longer since there are no other games out there like this one. Long story short this game actually made me like skiing for the first time ever in the 18 years of my life of being a snowboarder. I've also been waiting for a game like this forever literally. NO COMPANY has ever made a snow sports game so realistic. I needed a game like this so badly and it's finally here. So here's my review:

Pros:

- Very realistic physics. (Speed going uphill is a little bit off when tucking since you barely slow down but is not a problem because it allows you to find more lines. Going downhill is perfect. Please do not change it devs, do not listen to idiots.)

- All tricks are realistic as well. (You can finally cork your spins. Never have I ever played a snow game that I could actually pull a double cork 10 that looks exactly like it's done in real life. In Shaun White Snowboarding the closest thing to a cork is a rodeo...no corking was implemented in that game... like wtf.)

- Real life brand clothing and gear replicas. (Armada, Head, etc.)

- Real life event replicas. (Nine Knights, Jon Olsson Invitational, etc.)

- Real Life sponsers. (Red Bull, Monster, etc.)

- Vast mountains to explore, and I mean it. The current mountain Sialia actually takes about 10 minutes real life time to get from top to the bottom at full speed making it very realistic. Also this mountain is ski - able in all directions, North, East, West, and South. Each direction has different types of terrain, including a terrain park, my favorite, that takes about 4 minutes to get down.

-Lots of cool different lines you can take. The whole mountain has lines hidden away for you to find. Above I mentioned the terrain park which has multiple different directions you can take that lead you into different parts of the terrain park and back into the same parts if you wish. The choice is yours as there are so many variations to this terrain park it's truly endless fun.

-Legit first person view (It literally looks like real life in first person view when you're corking a spin.)

You don't gain any advantages to your character in terms of speed, power, or skills. NO PAY2WIN here. The skill is in the players hands.

-Devs are super friendly and helpful and respond very fast to any problems or bug reports. (I submitted a bug report and got a response within the first day and then I responded again because I didn't give accurate information and they responded within minutes.) Most importantly they actually listen to their community.

♥♥♥♥:

-Few bugs. (Sometimes your character bails even though he landed perfectly, which happens very rarely like 2 times in a 4 hour session. Not a big deal) (Skiing switch in first person is a little buggy since the shoulder gets in the way when tucking. Not a big deal.) Sometimes when you spawn on a drop point you get stuck until you respawn again. (Not a big deal.) (Games crashes in multiplayer sometimes as well as desyncs, which kind of pisses me off but I sent in a ticket and devs noted these crashes and are working on fixing them, also new servers are coming very soon.)

-Price of gear is just a little bit expensive but I have no problems with this at all since there is no advantage to owning this stuff.
-Not enough advertising. I really want to see this game succeed but I only heard about this in December, yet it's appearently been out for 3 years now. I had to search deep to find this it was literally like digging for gold and hitting the jackpot. I was stuck with all these other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games for 3 years when I could have been playing this.

Summary:

If you are like me and are looking for a snow sports game that actually replicates real life skiing and snowboarding, then this is the game you're looking for. This is the game you have been waiting your whole life to play, but couldn't because it was buried in a search engine full of bullsh*t. Do yourself the favour and don't waste cash on all these mainstream AAA garbage games made in China. You'll just come right back here realizing how much of an idiot you were to even bother looking at them.

Thanks.

JUST BUY!!!!!!

The Predator is a stealthy, agile race, allowing you to stalk your prey from the tree tops and sneaking around the back of enemies. You also have different vision modes, which will seek out the other races very easily. Each different vision mode however will make the other class invisible. Aliens are able to see through the predators cloaking device while the marines are able to gun down a predator with ease.

Aliens, which was by far my favorite race to play as, pushes you to fight in close-quarters with claws, teeth and tails. You have the ability to climb on walls and jump long distances. You can stalk in the shadows and pounce on an unsuspecting enemy.

The Marine campaign is that far more standard to a first-person shooter. You are able to carry your pistol along with two other firearms, ranging from shotguns to pulse rifles. To help you work your way around, you are equipped with a torch, flares and motion trackers.

The graphics are nice; even though this game is a couple of years old now, it still stands the test of time. There are the odd time when you can tell its five years old, but you can't really complain that much as this is easily one of the better looking games from that year. The swamps and forest are lush of greenery, while the alien hives are also very pleasing to look at.

As with all horror games, the audio in Aliens vs Predator is top notch. Any sudden change in music will get your heart racing, but like all jump scare games, once you start to get used to them and the way they happen, they soon don't effect you at all and are able to just take them in your stride. Once you hit about three quarters of the way through, any horror aspect is lost sadly. Voice acting is very well done here too - all of the main characters are voiced, granted the only campaign with much voice acting is the marines, but you still get bits here and there in the other missions.

I played this on Normal difficulty; and didn't really have any problems - the only one which stands out for me is on the Alien mission when you have to climb through an air tunnel; this took me a while to work out how to progress and had to result to Youtube in the end. Other than that, there are no real hard points to be found, all objectives are clearly marked along with a way-point system arrow that points you in the right direction all of the time.

Playing all three campaigns on a normal difficulty; I was able to finish Aliens Vs Predator in just under six hours. You can replay the missions on a higher difficulty for an achievement if that is your thing; but once you play it through once, there isn't really any other reason to play it again. The multiplayer scene here is also pretty barren too; so you are really paying just for the single player story.

This is really well put together game, all of the gameplay and story elements are very well presented. It does the franchise justice and fans of the series will love it. I wholeheartedly recommend Aliens vs Predator.
