CS2 promised A LOT with its release and was being hyped up by the community, but at release, the game was filled to the brim with issues and felt rushed. The once-reliable VAC (the anti-cheat) has been disabled for a very long time, which resulted in the game being ruined by cheaters who either always blatantly cheat or start to cheat whenever you play semi-decently against them. Premier, which is intended for serious competition, is now entirely HvH (Hacker versus Hacker) and completely unplayable for legitimate players. It does suck seeing one of the largest game series EVER being in such a bad state. CS:GO also got left in the dust, which prevented a large portion of the community from playing due to hardware limitations.

I still somewhat enjoy CS2, I love the new graphics, the new smokes, etc. however, all of that is overshadowed by the sheer amount of problems this game currently has and has had since release that Valve has been neglecting to resolve.

The developers are working on improving this game and addressing these issues, but just like every big Valve game, it has always ended with a “2” at the end.
