As someone new to fighting games, I would definitely give this a recommend. Very in-depth tutorial for beginners, and there is a lot of single player content to help apply what you have been learning (VN, Missions, Arcade, etc.).

The online, unfortunately at its current state, does not have rollback netcode, so online play is not the best experience. Although this is the case, the community for this game is dedicated. Now the online can be dead at certain times of day (shoot for afternoons and weekends), but if you need people to play with (and don't have friends), I learned that there is a discord available, with the ability to play with people at the same skill level as well as people who are willing to teach you the game. Honestly super nice, and super sweaty people, but hey, that is the FGC for you.

If you are looking to play this game, I would recommend getting a friend to play/train with you. It is cool to see the growth as you continue to play. But of course, making new friends in the online lobbies works just as well. Overall, you won't regret taking a dive into this game.

Amazing game with a very active multiplayer base. Cheaters and hackers are not as apparent compared to other older CODs

There is something about gungeon that keeps brining me back...

I have to admit, the game is not perfect, but where the game has gone has defiantly made this game a favorite of mine. The ag&d was a great addition to the game that made runs a lot better. The game is HARD, but because of that, every time I defeated a boss was the most satisfying thing. Game play is addicting. Although I have yet to complete a few of the character's past at the time of this review, I just have to recommend this game. Although I am upset Dodge Roll is going to roll over 1 final update, I am excited to see what they will do next.
