Gameplay:
The combat have improved a lot since 7. You can now move around to chain attack and all party member can pick stuff to attack too. The new Skill Inheritance system was also a step up to me, you don't need to grind all the job level to have a perfect character, insteed you can just pick any 5 normal skills and 1 Kiwami skill from any job that fit your liking. Job skill is now more simple too, they remove some useless skills from all the old jobs so now the skill panel look more simple and easy to search for the skill you want to use. Skills are also show their effect area (a line or a circle) which make it more convenience to navigate your attack.

Minigame:
There're a lot of minigames in this game and each of them is very fun and enjoyable especially Sujimon and Dondoko island. These two minigames alone can be a stand-alone game of there own. Sujimon minigame is very fun and easy to get into but if you want to get all the Sujimon the fastest way is to gacha them from the machine which cost quite a lot of money. Once you got the Sujimon you want you can put them in the Sujimancer job to enhance it's power but turn out the job is not that good kinda disappointed tho. On the other hand, Dondoko island minigame is supposed to be a money making minigame but it has a lot of problem. The Dokobucks (which is the money you use in that minigame) value is too low, 1mil Dokobucks is only worth 10k usd and that amount you can just by go to the dungeon and grind in like 10mins. You wonder how can you make Dokobucks? You have to wait 3 days on Dondoko island and each day take about 7-10 mins, and there's no way to skip the day. You have to wait for like forever to pass that 3 days. That's a long time to farm for cash.

Music:
Most of the time I don't really care about music in-game at all but the Palekana theme is pretty fire. And i think RGG Studio finally notice the meme, if you like sad substory music this game is for you. I think there're about 20+ substories that use the sad substory music and that amount is insane.

Story:
This game is a duo protagonist that is Ichiban and Kiryu. Most of the time you will play as Ichiban but that doesn't mean Kiryu story is shorter because Kiryu have his Bucket List that will fulfill his story. On Ichiban side he will face the weird ass cult that got brain washed by their sage. The sage also take all the nuclear waste and dark secret from plenty of countries to his island to keep the world rely on him so that he can build an empire for himself and become a god. Meanwhile Kiryu's story is about facing consequences of him running from the Fourth Chairman responsibility that he can help the old yakuza live a honest live. Now he face against a man who want to take revenge on ex-yakuza and send them to the sage island to become slaves. I know this kind of story isn't fit everyone kind of taste but to me this one is pretty fun and emotional, especially on Kiryu's side. After 7 I hardly believe that there will be no more of the old story like Kiryu's time after the Great Dissolution. Ichiban story will be a more fun and upbeat.

Overall this game is 9 out of 10. Looking forward to LaD 9

Like a Dragon Gaiden is a great game despite the fact that it only a side story to fit in the gap between 6 and 7. The game doesn't have NG+ but to me i can easily grind all the skill in only 3 chapters so it's fine for me without the NG+. Top 3 Like a Dragon / Yakuza game to me

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is as expect a great game again. First i love the story it's well writen and i like Kaoru character also i really like the golden Osaka castle tho (it was random af). Next is the clan creator is good and unique but sometimes the ai is dumb even if the objective they heading for is destroyed they still go for it and stare for some seconds. Now is the combat, i think the Dragon engine have really mess thing up for me after i played 0 and kiwami 1 the combat system feel less indepth now like less finisher at the start of the game like you need to learn how to use golf club?? And the glitchy hitbox make it even worse sometime the heat action icon show up sometime they not. The ragdoll is funny yes but in serious fights ragdoll make the intense feeling gone completely (also Sega nerf katana pls you make Ryuji look like a baby with a plastic sword when facing with my Kiryu holding a katana or atleast make enemy that holding sword deal more damage).

Another great game in the Yakuza series the story is 10/10 and the minigames are also fun

This is the first time I play Yakuza series, I play it in order from 0 to Like a Dragon and my review is only contain my first playthrough experience
Note: I'm using mouse and keyboard so you may not have some issue with the game like me, i'm always try to unlock all skills before the final boss fight in my first play so i will play the game in order main story -> all substories possible -> main story. Until now i have done Yakuza 4

Pros:
-You can play as Majima
-There are 4 different fighting styles for each character
-You can unlock skills with money instead of exp like the next game and you can earn money pretty fast with 2 minigames
-All the minigames and substories are fun
-Cutscenes are really enjoyable to me
-You can watch lewd video with the real japanese p*rn actor

Cons:
-Substories dont have any mark on the minimap make it hard to find
-You can only save at phone booth make it sometimes annoying (i dont play JRPG much so this kind of save mechanic make me confuse at first)
-Like i said before unlock skills with money make me not really care about substories reward cause you earn money faster with minigames, unlike other yakuza game you have to level up with the exp that complete the substories reward you to unlock skills in this game you can skip all the substories cause its reward not that valuable anyway
-Hard to move camera in small space like Little Asisa
-Real Yakuza use a gamepad but what i see on Youtube it only make the game easier somehow?????
-I cant rebind key in minigames with keyboard

By far this game is 10/10

good game but there are so many hackers

If you like to get 1 shot by hacker and see your teammate spinning in your base completely useless then go ahead and buy this F*CKING GAME! Also if you wonder about the anti cheat system then the answer is VAC = VALVE ALLOWS CHEATERS!

This game is the best 2D game i ever played! You can play solo or with friend and it's all fun! 100/10
