I give it 6 months before they remove steam access and then ruin the game further. I have been playing for YEARS and have poured thousands of hours of my life into this game. From bronze 1 to champ 3, I have seen everything in this game. I was a kid when I started, now I'm a grown man and I must say, EPIC Games is a disgusting, greedy hive of trash. Not only did Psyonix let us down on the sellout but 12 months later the game has been completely shipped into the pits.

1. *they removed quick start* - literally why the hell would you remove the only decent feature?

2. *they changed 10% of the UI and left the other 90% the same.* - its like Taco bell when they got a new logo but kept the weird 1990's interior. Makes literally no sense and is clunky, slow and ugly. The colors are super contrasting and don't blend together at all.

3. *Free to play* - well there goes the millions of people who paid for the game. especially on Nintendo Switch where they forced people to pay $35 for a 4 year old game.

4. *Removal of Solo Standard* - looks like whenever you can't fix something you just throw it away like a toddler. Nice going getting rid of a mode the every single competitive game has. Not everyone wants to face timmy who is getting carried by his GC friend in plat 2. That's a giant messup.

5. *Hope you like Smurf Accounts* - RL had a giant boosting problem before this update and when Sept. 23rd comes that is about to be the absolutely worst thing in the world. Imagine, getting into silver 1 for the first time after weeks or months of grinding just to get pub stomped every game for a week straight because of "paid boosting services". This not only effects new players, but the people who have grinded for years will get god stomped back into c1 or c3 because SuPeR cHaMpIoN Johhny pooped down your throat and his diamond scrub "What a Saves!" you.

6. *Removal of Crates and Keys* - whereas gambling is a serious issue, crates and keys are some people's only way of getting a cool item without the secondary market charging $300 USD for a stupid wheel. Blueprints doesn't help because after 6 months of BP's, YOU STILL CANNOT LOOK AT ALL THE ITEMS IN THE SERIES. Again, why would you remove something so remedial but so vital? Blueprints are a horrible compromise because now its pure chance you get one of a thousand item color and edition possibilities. This is now the norm, but its a horrible way to go about it. CSGO is available in China and they didn't have to destroy their game to cater to the market.

7. *Tencent owns 40% of EPIC Games and they own Psyonix* - When you sellout for the big bucks, you put yourself in the hands of the buyer, which is exactly what EPIC Games and minority shareholder Tencent wanted. They have now fully catered to the Chinese extremely censored market and have removed anything at all that can be slightly offensive including crates/keys. They even created an entirely separate edition for the Chinese market. So why the hell did you go and destroy the global edition? This makes no sense other than laziness or pressure from shareholders.Overall, I can probably find more things to nitpick about the game, its creators and it parent company. But I will end it here.

Rocket League will always have a place in my heart and the gaming community but I feel as though no one will ever appreciate its formal glory. Getting Rising star, opening a Black Market Decal from a crate, getting the crazy save with the boys at 2am... those are things I will never forget. I can forgive all of this garbage for the core gameplay but with F2P and the pressure from an overbearing EPIC Games, I will never forgive Psyonix. RIP Rocket League (the experience) 2016-2020
