It's good. It's more XCOM. They went in the complete opposite direction of what I wanted after XCOM 2 - but that being said - it's more XCOM. So... Y'know... It's good. It's not what I wanted, but it's good. Glitchy cameras, buggy laggy queued events, ten year old engine - it's all there.

Great fun, a fair bit of replayability it seems - but I think the price is steep at $20 - wait for a sale. But definitely worth your time. Needs an Iron Man mode - the draw of savescumming was too strong!

This is a pretty bad game with a lot of problems. (FWIW, the previous two Wolfenstein games are some of my favorites of all time).

Youngblood Major Problems:
- No pause feature.
- Sister AI is buggy as hell (I'm not interested in playing coop).
- The "right tool for the job" feature is SUPER unbalanced - too many of one type of enemy spawn, and if you don't have the right ammunition, you either have to run away or die and hope for a better RNG next time.
- The game does a poor job of telling you what missions are appropriate for your level - I've spent a significant amount of time backtracking from a mission because there's no fast-travel back to the base. You literally have to wander around backwards through the underground for an hour. It's annoying.

edit: original review was after 4 hours. Just beat the game with 13 hours banked - and the story is awful. The sisters are fun characters though!

Great game - but my first matchup after the tutorial was against a guy with all the cards who walked all over my face.

So, y'know... Bring your wallet, I guess.

Cheaper on your phone - and the PC version is a nightmare of technical issues.

A worthy successor to Theme Hospital. The best management game to come out in a long, long time. GOTY.

It's definitely not a $60 game. Wait for a sale.

It's a good game, albeit a little simple. They stripped out too many of Planet Coaster's features and the maps are way too small.

The progression and missions are fun, but once you've beaten them, unlike other sims and builders, there isn't much left to do. They give you Isla Nublar and a *slightly larger* map, but it's still not big enough, and the joy of designing your park is kind of killed when they remove the charts and graphs and numbers of the previous islands.

It's missing a lot of basic features that you figure would be a staple of this genre - there's no running list of the dinosaurs in your park, the building plots are square and weird (unlike Planet Coaster's very customizable buildings). No matter what park you design, it's giong to be ugly. Not that it matters because the map is too small to do anything.

I could go on forever, just don't buy this game until the price comes down or they release a bunch of DLC (It's Frontier, so they definitely will, and I suspect it will make the game better). I'm prepared to change my review when they fix the very basic problems with the game.

It's gonna be a good game someday. Today is not that day. It's Planetbase, but not as polished. (Let that sink in.)
