The story is hot garbage but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is a solid shooter. Get the game on sale so Randy Bitchford doesn't get more money.

Valve's Magnum Opus, a timeless masterpiece and was a juggernaut of innovation during it's time twenty years ago, and should be a must-own for every Steam account.

Following the release of the 2023 State of the Game I'm changing my review to negative. Bungie are completely out of touch with the community and the game has not been good since Witch Queen.

Destiny 2 used to be something good but that time has passed.

I genuinely pray that Marathon fails.

This is easily one of my favorite games of all time. The music, the art style and the flow of combat while you rush through every level as fast as you can while you quickly explore looking for secrets and time doors. The rush you get when your carrying 20+ Cells, your Flask is empty and you haven't had good luck with weapons but you barely survive with less then 100HP and the sense of relief when you visit The Collector. This game is absolutely phenominal in every way. Every new run is a new experience, teaching you something new about the game and what options you have now, and what options will become open to you when you unlock a new move, opening up new areas and giving you more freedom.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game and it's absolutely worth the price.
