tl;dr if you're a Bethesda fan: Todd Howard is a hack who made an exceptionally mid space game and has destroyed any hope I have for Elder Scrolls 6. Do not buy this, go buy Skyrim or anything else.

tl;dr if you're not a Bethesda fan: Bethesda are a hack company who made an exceptionally mid space game that is reminiscent of No Man's Sky when it first released in terms of quality, and pales in comparison to any of the other space games that are out there right now. Do not buy this.

I'm gonna be that guy and say despite my negative review I still find some level of enjoyment playing this game. I know, I'm sorry I'm one of the five people that does kinda enjoy this game. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna suggest this mess to people. I have very few reasons to defend this game, so I'm just gonna call it junk food. This game made me go back and appreciate Fallout 4 and it's hand crafted world and locations despite alot of complaints I have with that game.

When the game came out I was on some absolutely insane copium and somehow invested 5 full days into my first character, went thru the main story and explored the Settled Systems, did alot of random quests, got married, finished the main quest and even started NG+

After starting NG+ something in me shifted and all the cracks with the game became visible, not even just the load times, but the awful writing, the Bethesda jank and the completely boring planets. This game needs alot of work, and I'm fairly certain that Todd and team aren't gonna put in the effort.

This game not being nominated for GOTY 2023 is criminal.

FROMSOFT have two back to back dubs with Elden Ring and Armored Core 6.

Get the first person mod, completely changes how the game feels.

I don't wanna hear it from any of you.

Some of the game hasn't aged well but this is still a damn good game.

I wish Japan was a real place.

A Father and Son on a journey to the highest peak in all the realms.

One of the best games ever made, a rare example of a game being worthy of it's AAA status and I cannot wait for Ragnarok to hit PC.
