UNPOLISHED GEM WHICH DOESN'T WANT TO BE POLISHED

With every update, small or big, game breaks more and more for me, at least once for every 5-10min, so I'm gonna list things I don't like and leave good things out of this. Let's get to the point...

Cannot pick up stuff sometimes, getting stuck when picking bunker ♥♥♥♥, cannot shoot my primary, couldn't stand up from a dive, couldn't move my character when enter menu, bunch of camera glitches (mostly harmless), server disconnecting and issues, no rewards after mission when completed, dying from "unknown", "world", "yourself" when literally not doing ♥♥♥♥, grenades hitting invisible pixels and bouncing off in air, strikes applying in entirely different region than thrown, couldn't move revive pods when falling and much more...

Not only that, 5 deaths on solo is not very good idea, multiplayer includes everything that other players can kill you with and they do not hesitate to do so...

Not much content, bots are unbalanced, weapons are locked behind a limited passes and armor with perks in in-game shop (I would see cosmetic, but not actual items), for how the game looks and map it's poorly optimised, not only that (Quality option, which I assume is FSR 1.0) looks very bad, watercolor-like bad, even though ultra-quality is set, it looks like performance in other games, balanced option is unplayable (at least for me), leaves it to native I guess...

Even if the gameplay is good, the game leaves much to be desired. It's not a hate review, but honest game-breaking things which made me stop playing it and broke the experience (not all ofc). I'll change the review when most of these'll be fixed/changed.

LAST EPOCH

Definetly one of the few great ARPGS content wise!

PLUSES +

1. Graphics looks decent
2. Spells and abilities feel good
3. A lot of different gear to find/earn
4. Very good map
5. Excellent loot filter and crafting system
6. Factions
7. Skill trees are fun and easy to understand, but complex and gamechaning
8. Dungeons and late game content is good
9. Ability to play in full offline mode
10. Twitch campaigns and reasonable prices for in game cosmetic shop

MINUSES -

1. Big server issues
2. Bugs and long loading screens
3. Enemies can be irrationaly difficult. One time enemies are easy, two steps further enemies are much harder to defeat (just wanted to point it out here)
4. Cannot transfer characters from offline mode to online
5. Not such a compelling story, but cool nonetheless

SUMMARY:

It's really fun and great ARPG game that converst complexity of POE and simplicity of DIABLO, and makes it work pretty damn well. Game still have issues with servers and stability, but a lot of famous and popular games had the same issues. It's small studio and they managed to do something, that big companies also couldn't manage to do at the release. Good job devs.

Core gameplay is here! It's really good!

LETHAL COMPANY

Greatest party-horror experience you can have!

PLUSES +

1. Quality creatures
2. Wacky artstyle that matches the game well
3. Superior sound design
4. Great gameplay loop, especially with friends!
5. Not many bugs

MINUSES -

1. Solo gameplay is hard
2. Not many updates!
3. Lacks variety of in game locations (not planets)

SUMMARY:

One of the greatest fun experiences I've had in a while! Super fun game if you're playing with friends. Game encourages you to play with in game chat rather than external software due to it's high quality proximity chat, reverbs, sound bouncing and more. Gameplay loop is excellent and will keep your team in for quite a while, it sucks you into it's fun little round-like mechanic. People die a lot in it and The Creator managed to make it entertaining while containing the hard aspect of it.

If You're intrested in it, buy it to support creator if possible.

DARK SOULS 3

The best of Dark Souls games!

PLUSES +

1. Iconic OSTs
2. Good boss designs
3. A lot of gear and hidden treasure to find
4. Good locations

MINUSES -

1. Common enemies are much harder than bosses
2. Ring grinding is a joke, I hate it with all my heart
3. Quests are very complex and wacky at times with their designs

SUMMARY:

Best souls that FromSoftware created! Definetly give it a try if you're a souls fan. Locations are complex and difficult at times, unintuitive at times even. It's a great 20h at first playthrough experience that will challenge your skills and of course, sanity.

Closest souls-like game to elden ring than any...

I don't know how it is possible to make game even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up than it was before...

- Hitboxes. Especially from AO damage. These are bad, like really bad. You can still get hit when animation fades away.

- Locking on enemies won't change, even though the enemy is right in front of me.

- Game relays on spamming same enemies in harder locations, just more of them. Snow land is especially bad since when you go straight path you cannot go back. Have to go back at the original checkpoint. Sad, but spamming nonsence enemy like invisible arrow guy or big axe baddie with ao dmg just shows how this game really is trying to hide that they cannot make real progression.

- Upgrading weapons feels like an impossible task when you did not search each ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corner of each stage.

- Umbral realm, it's ok to respawn enemies, but for ♥♥♥♥ sake don't spam multiple enemies when i just look around for a second.

- Boss fights even though they have really good designs they are bad, like spamming normal enemies during bossfights or big heads from umbral is not entertaining.

- Last stages feel like they were rushed for the release.

- New updates constantly break stuff in my save, for example I've started to get blocked by any spikey thing on the ground (my character just freezes and jumps up and down (/'-')/, camera blocks on enemies and doesn't want to go back, cannot deselect enemy, minor enemies hitting me across map with melee ???

Sad, the game felt better at the start and I would even say at the release, but now I have more bugs than gameplay and late game destroys the experience for me.

Gameplay feels good so it would be 7/10, maybe even 8/10 if it worked properly. In conclusion there's too much ao damage, too much minor enemies being spammed at your face normally or in boss fights, boss fights need to be reworked, outside than major bosses ofc (crow excluded, it's just chore and not funny joke than boss fight). Game tries to do same concept over and over, Pieta was definetly the best boss in the game so far. Items look good and gameplay feels good outside of umbral fights and minor boss fights (normal enemies with boss healthbar). If this game cost around 30$ I would say even it's worth, but these things break the immersion so much it's unplayable. There are also boss fights which you have to run entire map to, because of YES. Through multiple big enemies and horde of smaller ones :) The experience.

Things to change: AO DMG, Boss fights reworks, Enemies locations and checkpoints, Focus on bug fixes than seasonal content in sp game, rework stages (add passages, shortcuts, make them more accessible than a marathon)

Despite all the options I still cannot play it. Insane input lag and framerate issues. Literally unplayable. New update blocked my wheel and I cannot change any attack.

ELDEN RING

One of the best immersive games I've experienced

PLUSES +
1. Great soundtrack
2. Beautyful map and locations
3. Leveling at graces / campfires
4. Lots of different equipement to chose from
5. Graphics
6. Every major boss is carefully crafted and very fun to play against
7. Many outcomes, choose your strategy / option type quests and story
8. Torrent
9. PvP activity
10. A lot of loot
11. Malenia, Blade of Miquella

MINUSES -

1. Low performance
2. World hitboxes, hard to do platforming stuff, etc
3. Most of the enemies and items are from another From Software's games
4. No real endgame, You complete story, then either " new game+ " or PvP
5. Lack of stat counter, for example: how many bosses you killed
6. Malenia, Blade of Miquella

SUMMARY:

From Software managed to create a masterpiece of a game. Elden Ring is big, from the story, to the world itself. It manages to tell a compelling story, when also being fun at it's core - fighting.
Boss fights themselves are very well crafted, as their models, every one is unique and gives a sense of dread down your spine when we first ecounter them. World is massive with many different regions and locations, from grassy Limgrave, across the desolate brasillian landscapes known as Caelid, to snowy Mountaintops of Giants. Elden Ring world will keep You busy with exploring and gathering different loot scattered across The Lands Between.

Even after seeing the same models or enemies I still enjoyed it for majority of the gameplay. The only aspect I would change is performance, although it manages to have consistent framerates indoors / outside big open areas (Limgrave, etc). Definetly worth the full price!

I hope that their next games in the genre will be as good as Elden Ring

I5-9600k / rtx 2060oc 6GB / 16GB ram 2666hz / 5TB HDD / 400GB ssd m.2

Game can't be played. Constant framdrops, stuttering, freezes.

Fps around 15min - 66max. No matter what the settings are. I've tried even 480p lowest possible settings and 1080p ultra no fsr, fps are the same, no difference. Tried everything, but it can't be played while 30fps with constant stuttering.

*Tried also on laptop: Asus tuf f15 fx506hc if I recall correctly, rtx3050 / i5-11400h / 16gb ram / 500gb ssd m.2 -- same fps, not matter what.
