Yes the game could be better optimised. I run it on an old 2060 at about 40-50 fps in 1080 with most settings at low. It doesn't look the best at these settings, but it plays smooth enough even if my graphics card sounds like a jet airplane.

That being said, I'm having a blast. This truly feels like solid step up from CS1. The road tools are much better and precise. The buildings are more realistic. The way you end up building more life like environments, by having bigger city areas for downtown, suburban and industrial that pushes you into build more realistic looking cities, that take longer to plan out and takes up more space. The new more detailed demand-system makes a huge difference to how you grow your city. The skill unlocking system is great and really allows you to dig down deep into different areas of specialisation.

It's a great game and it's only going to get better from here on.

Excellent little puzzle adventure game. Beautiful graphics, music and story. Not difficult but very relaxing and an interesting world to explore. I wish it was bigger, longer and had more puzzles and puzzle mechanics.
