This is how I want VR games to be like.

Yeah, all those gimmicks with VR controllers are cool, but they're fun only for a while, then they get in the way. I prefer standard gaming, in a couch with a controller, with the VR experience adding the 3D visuals. And that's what Hellblade is great in.

The immersion is amazing. The scenery is stunning just to look at, and the gameplay feels like it was designed with VR in mind, when it really wasn't. VR even solves some of the problems I had with the standard version, for example the VR freelook helps me avoid enemies during combat. Even the environmental puzzles work better in VR.
