I like the story, world and setting. It's the type of game where hours fly by and you just can't stop playing.

However....the combat, particularly at the beginning is woeful, it's truly shocking how bad it is and it initially prevented me from playing. The enemies counter everything, have zero stamina problems, and take 3 in game days to kill, you also have to fight 3 (or more!) of them at once with a god awful targeting system. It's frustrating and nigh on impossible.
You then have to load a save from an hour ago when you die because saving is forbidden for some stupid reason. It's not challenging, it does't feel rewarding it just feels cheap and time wastey for no reason.

For these reasons I HIGHLY recommend mods, there are plenty that make the combat significantly better and allow you to save whenever you want. Since I've played with mods I've thoroughly enjoyed the game (bar a few bugs and glitches) and would highly recommend it with this caveat.

I love democracy

Gameplay itself is good.
Maps are terribly designed and mostly resort in being spawn killed.
The recent economy changes are a joke and the game has become pay to progress. You can't earn money or new vehicles without spending money or thousands of hours. Gaijin do not care about players, only money.

10/10 Must buy!
