is good if you like old school mmos

this might be one of my favorite games ever made. i'm constantly staggered by how good it is, how detailed it is, how much thought and work went into everything. There's nothing even close for my money.

Grew up playing Harvest Moon, and this is even better.

I found this to be ALMOST a good representation of what I loved about the original. I had a lot of good fun with this game, but there were a few things I wished had been kept from the original. It was clear the team that designed this had a lot of love for the original game.

I missed the ability to scout for enemy bases. In the old X-Com you could visually track where UFOs were and if you followed them on the Geoscope you could sometimes uncover their base. The same went the other way as well. If you shot down a lot of UFOs right outside your base, sometimes they would send a ship to directly assault your base. It wasn't a "story" element, it was just something that you had to watch out for that could happen at anytime, regardless of whether your base or troops were prepared for it.
