Yes, Skyrim is a good RPG. It has a big open world and focuses more on the lore and character interaction than most other Action-RPGs. For finding side-quests you have to talk to NPCs. Choices can drastically affect the outcome of quests. Exploring the world is the biggest part of the game, and quite time consuming, as you can see from my playtime :D:
