Legendary Edition itself is fine. Its not the laziest remaster I have ever seen. You can definitely see strong improvements in the first game. Also Gameplay wise. But while on sale you get 3 full games for the price of a pizza. Its a no brainer. Also prepare to buy some more pizza while you binge through the game.

Strongly recommend to use mods to get rid of the awful time filler mini-games and to have upscaled videos. You might also want to use some consistency mods and get missing DLCs like Pinnacle Station back.
