I've not managed to finish it yet, but I have every intention when I have the time. Even if I never do I've enjoyed the tactical action of the game so far very much, and it's definitely worth experiencing at least up to the point I have already. Reading up on lore between missions and speccing units for the next one is fun. The characters are a little childish for my tastes, but I suppose that's part of the message and image of a series like this. The only real complaints I have are nitpicks- some of the sound effects are clearly taken from a generic sound library, or are a little low quality, for example. And personally, even though I enjoy this sort of thing, my brain tends to get bogged down in comparing the minutiae of different units. If you enjoy tactical RPGs like XCOM or similar, in my book it's a must play.

The only reason I haven't rushed through this whole game already is that my computer can't handle some of the alpha effects.

It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

It might be good if you have a clan or friends to do things with. By yourself it's a remarkably lonely experience with little to do and you feel you have little control or ability to change the outcome of anything.

This game helped me understand that I don't like MMOs. This game would be better if you could play it offline and without everyone else and if they completely redid it from scratch.

Fun with friends, if forgettable. Heard there was a mod for first person gameplay years ago. Wonder if that's still around, might make me try it again if I ever reinstall windows

Only game in the series worth playing, for my money. Very twitchy, arcadey stuff.
