Hands down the best fps shooter there is. Small teams, comprehensible map layouts, and quick rounds makes for fast paced gameplay and matches. The game all other competitive FPS games try to emulate, but fall flat on the face while attempting.

With consistently hitting over 1 million simultaneous users ingame, a trend that started even before the pandemic, you can be sure that in this shooter you will always find likeminded and equally skilled people to play with (Unless you live in really low populated server regions). I've met so many nice people through the Counter-Strike series since i started playing them over 20 years ago, many of them who i've befriended in real life too. So what are you waiting for? NOTE! You need to purchase the PRIME game in order to have the best experience. As with all games having a F2P option, this one is littered with toxicity and griefing aswell. Do yourself a faver and invest in PRIME status for CS:GO. At the time of writing, nothing is confirmed, but i personally believe the PRIME/Non prime system will be tranferred to CS2.
