Wow. What can I say. Just an incredible game with amazing atmosphere, soundtrack, and gameplay. The mechanics feel very smooth, and while I sucked at the beginning with the controls, once you get used to them they feel very fluid. If you're interested in playing at all, don't spoil yourself. The game is absolutely best experienced blind, and the story that the game provides absolutely blew me away. The way that the mechanics are tied in with the progression, and how the progression between gameplay and story is blended is absolutely masterful. I just cannot recommend this game enough and it is my top game of 2017.

If this game interests you even slightly, go play it instead of spoiling yourself! The story that unfolds as you uncover the truths of the island is spectacular with a few twists and turns in it. The world is incredible and you, the player, get to uncover that mystery as well. There's plenty of worldbuilding and almost nothing is wasted in the experience. I do wish the game had full voice acting, as the few lines there are get quite annoying. Thankfully there is a feature to turn down the frequency and even disable them entirely, which I did pretty shortly into the whole thing.
