A grind-to-win or pay-to-win fiasco, now with 100% less single-player modding and 100% multi-player hacking!

This review may be biased, for that I am an art student. Life Is Strange is a strong release by Dontnod that shows how a videogame medium can tackle the themes of suicide, nostalgia, and depression. I have a personal connection with the game, and it will always have a special place in my heart.

I personally consider it to be superior to The Walking Dead. The Wolf Among Us is a tale of mystery and suspense that ties in perfectly with the comics, which it had gotten me hooked to.

It is a fun game, true, but it is taking far too long for the updates to come. My friend and I have already run out of things to do after the Demo/Firebug update. I was actually very annoyed that they have already added weapons exclusive to owners of Chivalry (although I do own the game myself), even though they are an Early Access title. I really hope that Tripwire come to their senses and begin treating the game as an Early Access product and give us updates to test the game. If they do not, then I will condemn them for releasing a sad excuse for a game.

I have lost my faith in Overkill at this point. I was a loyal fan of the original Payday, and was highly excited for 2 to come out. I played it like a religion with my friends. Problem is, even now, Overkill could not give less of a ♥♥♥♥ about the things they have promised the community. We were promised safehouse customisation and a new enemy, both of which have yet to appear even though they were hyped up over a year ago.

I was promised free DLC, when the last free DLC was how long ago? Overkill first started off with the Armoured Transport DLC, which was free for me, but was $5, but now you pay $5 for one character than has less depth than the puddle in my shower, and $7 for a single bloody heist. For every free DLC we get, it's like three gets released as paid, and although you can do the heists with someone who owns it, is one heist really worth the money?

The current DLC count has seven free DLCs (excluding the updates), and twenty-six pieces of paid DLC. Where does Overkill have the time to pump out the DLC when they still haven't given us things that they had promised us years ago?

Excellent game, I'd highly recommend this if you want a perfected storyline experience, or a grand-scale co-op playthrough with your friends

Y'know, it's about time I update review and say that this game has been my go-to for the past year and a half. I originally played for the money but it grew on me.
