Hilarious and yet frustrating, very fun with friends.

Trying to figure out how what to do and how to attempt to survive is lots of fun, if you have the patience to fail quite a few times.

I still can't figure out how to utilize streams and underwater to my advantage, but at least I have a semi functional city.

Its like smite, if the map and abilities threw up colors all over you. Extremely unbalanced, way to much going on, chars die almost instantaneously most of the time.

I don't see this lasting very long.

Maybe I had my nostalgia glasses on, but this game is terrible compared to the original. Most ppl just spam god powers, allies don't do ♥♥♥♥ in multiplayer, and all the units just feel lackluster.

I think the golden ages of the RTS are dead and gone.

Much better after recent patches, still some server stability issues but its improving.

At this time I cannot recommend this. This game suffers from staggering imbalance and hit detection issues. Nothing like a group of lvl 3's in grey gear spawning right on top of a group of lvl 20's capped out.

Last game was a total of 20 seconds long. Until the devs do something about this there is no real reason to play unless you are level 20.

Unplayable after latest patch, can't stay connected to a game for longer than about 5 mins before being booted back to lobby.

Will update if / when this gets fixed.

Couldn't get any MP without renting a server or joining an existing one. Not what I was looking for.

It doesn't work, at all.

Maybe its fun, who knows. After 8-10 logos you are forced to look at during the initial loading screen when I click on Enlist the game locks up.

Thats my whole experience.... IMO its trash.

Its amazing. Hands down one of the best games I've ever played in my lifetime. Its one of those games that you can, and will return to and play again and again.

The freedom you have in the game is truly awe inspiring. The music is fantastic, and the devs just keep working on it. No MTX, its a fully fleshed out complete game when it released.

Sure there are some bugs, but the devs are squashing them even as I write this review. I cannot praise this game enough, and this is from someone who absolutely hated Divinity Original Sin 2.

Kudos to the devs, I will continue to support future endeavors from them.

Now for an ingame story. This is my g/f's first top down turn based RPG, and we did our first playthrough together.

MINOR SPOILER ALERT:

In the very beginning of the game there is a pool, were talking and taking in our surroundings and I'm trying to tell her how things work in these type of games. I start to say "before you touch..." then BOOM she loses a bunch of HP.

She just had to touch the first thing she saw, and learned a valuable lesson in the first 3 minutes of the game. It was hilarious.
