You know how when you go to the subreddit for a popular game or franchise that's seen better days (cough cough Battlefield) and you see people throwing out endless suggestions that just amount to "add X feature from X game and it'll magically fix everything"? That's exactly what Delta Force is, for better or worse. This is a mashup of practically every mechanic from:
-Battlefield 3/4/1/V/2042
-Call of Duty (specifically Warzone and MW2022's DMZ mode on top of the absurd customization from Gunsmith)
-Escape From Tarkov for the Operations mode, to an extent
-Most mobile shooters popular in the SEA regions

This extends to everything from map designs and layout, inventory management, sound design, movement, weapon customization, progression. Nearly every mechanic in Delta Force has been lifted almost directly from a different game and smooshed into one complete package. This isn't a bad thing overall but it leads to a major issue.

In theory this should make for a "Best Of" collection of people's favorite parts of the aforementioned games. You have little things like how in BF1 your team all yells in unison while charging the first objective. Squadplay mechanics from BFV return here where you gain extra points for working directly with your 4-man squad, such as squad revives and bonuses for resupplying and healing them. Map destruction is fairly solid and feels about the same as it did in other BF titles. The Operations mode has a full Tarkov-style stash system with varying ammo types, armor tiers, weapon customization, upgrading your hideout, and a player-operated Market for nearly any item you can think of. The Warzone/Call of Duty TTK and movement is here down to the slide canceling and super sprinting, and the armor plate replacing animation is absolutely 100% lifted from Warzone. Specialists from BF2042 return here which is par for the course for a developer like this, but like in 2042 they detract from the "All Out Warfare" experience you want from Battlefield. There are tons of events, daily and weekly missions, bundles, skin packages, operators, all the normal stuff you would expect from a AAA live service multiplayer FPS.

The problem is that this leads to the game not having any real identity of it's own. With the sheer number of different *things* going on at any given moment every match devolves into a large scale game of Domination or Breakthrough, with significantly less coordination and strategy at play beyond "wipe the point and secure the objective" and racking up kills. Again this isn't a bad thing if you're looking for something to pick up and play for a bit, zone out, shoot stuff, etc., but unlike Battlefield that's basically all you'll be doing the entire time. I found myself struggling to remember any standout moments in the standard Warfare/Conquest matches because they all felt so similar to the last one it was hard to distinguish between them. The Breakthrough mode is fun but again it just becomes a matter of holding chokepoints and waiting for someone to peek their head out, very rarely did I end up in a game where it felt like a genuine tug-of-war between teams on objectives where my contributions truly mattered. Again, this is completely fine if you're looking for a less engaging title, but if you're looking for a bit more meaty experience this may not be your first choice.

I'm still going to recommend Delta Force simply because I like Battlefield style games with asymmetrical, vehicle based combat that still require a level coordination not found in other shooters. There's a lot of stuff going on around you at any given moment and plenty of content to unlock. I don't regret any of my current playtime or my playtime in the Alpha and Beta versions as well, this will definitely be a game I return to when I'm looking for a more casual experience. The Delta Force campaign remaster hasn't released yet so it remains to be seen if that will be any good, I'll give it a shot once it comes out since I played the original back in the day and still have my CDs in storage.

At the end of the day it's completely free and, fingers crossed, won't have any P2W microtransactions, and at that price point it's hard to argue against it.

Normally people say "this game is so addicting!" when they really mean it's just a fun game that you'll play and enjoy.

As someone who used to waste hours sitting at blackjack tables waiting for The Perfect hand, this game is addicting. You'll get the same warm dopamine brain fuzz playing this that you'd get playing any regular card game in person. This ♥♥♥♥ is dangerous.

Blatant furbait aside this is a nice, chill action RPG that feels like a mix of the Phantasy Star Online titles and a handful of PSX adventure games, albeit with a lot of the rough edges smoothed down. It's fairly simple so far but since the price doesn't seem like it'll be changing in the future you can't go wrong with a $10 coop romp.

And yeah there are gigantic breast, ass, and belly sliders. One race is called "Poon". If you like "shortstacks" you'll be all over this. Make sure you jack off before firing this one up cause your little nuts are gonna be quakin'

This is not a Solo game. Do not attempt to play this game solo with randoms on any mode, it's not worth your time or energy. You *will* get frustrated and consistently stomped by 3-stacks even in Casual modes. Join the game's Discord LFG channels or make sure you have a group of friends to play with before even considering playing. This isn't like most other modern shooters where you can try to grind and carry your way through some rough patches, even one uncommunicative player on your team can cost you the entire match and it will be immediately obvious. From 50 hours in the alpha/beta testing phases and 18 now as of writing this I can count on two hands how many times my teammate has had voice comms that weren't just hot mics of their smoke detectors or them talking in to their buddies about something unrelated. Bring a mic and use it.

Now that that's out of the way:
Graphically gorgeous. I'm not a fan of the neon red style but everything else is extremely impressive considering how well it runs on my machine.
Immensely satisfying destruction. This is what you've been waiting for since Battlefield started to tone it down and Siege fell off. Each match plays out like a brand new game every time and it's what keeps me coming back despite my first comments.
Sound design is unreal, you can tell that DICE developers worked on this. The AI announcers are a bit of a buzzkill though.
