It's a virtual... interactive... fireplace... And it's free. It runs fine and has a retro pixelated look and you can add few decors and throw matches and other stuff into the fire. It's not great (I would've liked more customization - the DLCs are nice but still limited), but it does it what it says.

A challenging bullet hell game, but with cute characters and a smooth co-op experience. I could only play this game solo on "cute" difficulty, since I have really bad reflexes and tend to mash buttons in this game. Also, if you're interested in playing the "story mode" here, you'll need to play it solo. I guess I could spend some time getting good, but it's simply more fun to play with friends or randoms online, and in my experience, most of the players online I've played with were significantly masters at "normal" and "hard" difficulty. The "lunar" difficulty is absolutely insane.

There are 5 levels, each with multiple stages and unique enemies. The bosses are amazing. There are 5 characters you start with. I did not enjoy particularly enjoy any of the starting characters, as the ones you'll unlock later are more interesting. There are items called "trinkets" you can equip before a run but I did not understand the point of them besides being cute accessories. The roguelike upgrades and items are important and powerful to win a game.

If you have the passion for quick torture and repeated failures, or have 1-3 friends (or find players online) to play this with, highly recommend this game.

P.S. The prequel (Maiden and Spell) is pretty great too.

6 puzzles, 5 difficulties, simple yet beautiful art, inspiring quotes upon completing a puzzle, lots of aids to solve puzzles like viewing only corner pieces or specific quadrants. Relaxing game.

Marvel Rivals is a love-letter to both online co-op hero shooter fans and Marvel fans. The variety of characters and abilities and their team-ups are awesome! I love playing as a strategist and it's always such a rush to see that "VICTORY!" screen after a hard-earned battle. The comic book art style is beautiful. The sound and level designs are fantastic. This isn't a pay-to-win game as all the characters are readily available. The MTX pricing is reasonable and you can earn the premium currency by completing in-game missions and such. Some of the cosmetics are truly marvellous. I have already bought two cosmetic bundles: Invisible Woman (Malice) and Psylocke (Vengence) and I am afraid I might purchase the one for Luna Snow (Shining Star) if I continue playing.

The game's connectivity and matchmaking are decent, the gameplay is super fun and easy to learn. The UI and UX are clean and fully animated. Nice to see leaderboards, replays and highlights. There are issues with frustrating teammates. As with any game, it's a blast to play with a group of friends.

Give it a try. This is a 10/10 experience for me. Excelsior!

P.S. This game introduced me to many Marvel characters that I haven't heard of before; Jeff the Land Shark is my favourite.

Some things are too small to notice and since there's no option to zoom in either, it's pretty difficult to do this without using hints, which itself is on a cooldown. Nice to see multiple pictures with cute corgis and bone toys to find.
