Very boring. You don't make as many significant choices as I would expect from an RPG. You just go places, kill things, take stuff, and leave. You're given quests to do morally wrong things and you can't say no or remove them from your quest log. The game doesn't run very well on a Ryzen 5 3600X and 4070. The NPCs are all really annoying and none of the companions are particularly interesting. There's too many loading screens. The only interesting places to be are the 4ish major cities. There's nothing to do on any of the planets other than take pictures of rocks and plants.

The gunplay is genuinely very good and I like the wide selection of guns. The few quest lines that involve investigating mysteries are pretty interesting.

$70 is way too much. There's so little content it feels like a $40 game. I'd only buy it if you're a Bethesda or RPG fan. If you don't have an insanely expensive computer, then don't bother.

The game is game too strict about what can snap together. You can't build anything fun.

There's no strategy to war now, you just send a general with an army to go fight the war and ask him to defend or attack and he does it on his own. Every country is now a command economy. Factories and farms now all need to be toggled manually to work in the most productive way. There's barely any diplomacy, and all trading is now done through micromanagement. Probably the worst tutorial I've ever seen in a video game. If you want to know how to do anything slightly complicated, you have to read about it online.

A very shallow game. Leaders don't talk anymore and just shrug or nod in silence while standing in a void. You're randomly attacked by some mindless AI in the middle of nowhere who doesn't send any troops to attack you. Units don't even change colors when you're at war with them, meaning the mindless stampedes of city state units that just wonder around everywhere aimlessly could contain an enemy without you noticing. Leaders will be best buds with warmongers who declare war on their neighbors every 2 turns, but annexing one single city from those warmongers labels you a warmonger for hundreds of years. It's the same old formula that was more than a decade old by the time the game was released with nothing added except some lame, boring quotes that don't mean anything. Just buy Civilization 5.

Really good gwent simulator. There's also this minigame where you roleplay as a witch or something, it's kinda good I guess

I got AC3 Remastered with AC Odyssey, and the game has 3 parts: the base game of AC3, the DLC for AC3, "Tyranny of King Washington," and AC Liberation.

Firstly, I quite like AC3. I haven't experienced the bugs and glitches to the extent that other reviews mention. In the 25 hours it took me to play, the game crashed one time and I only experienced a few bugs. The game was more stable than regular AC3 on my Xbox 360. While AC3 is one of my least favorite Assassin's Creeds, this is definitely the definitive version. One complaint about AC3 remastered is that while everything looks much better, everyone has that weird "playstation face." Everyone looks like their face is made of clay. I would give AC3 a 7.5/10 for the weak story and weak protagonist but good overall gameplay and sound.

Next, Tyranny of King Washington is very underwhelming. The reveal at the end is mildy interesting and it takes about 5.5 hours to finish, which is a good length for a DLC. However, the game is extremely frustrating at times. Unlike the game game, in TKW there's significant issues with locking on to targets and input seemingly not being received. Also, Connor will randomly stand in bushes while sneaking in the many instant-fail stealth missions. The game compensates for a lack of difficulty by putting an enormous number of enemies on every street corner. Fights aren't challenging, just long. 5.5/10.

Lastly, AC Liberation took a little over 9 hours to finish, having skipped some side quests. The game looks very impressive at times, especially in the Louisiana bayous. The story is very simple and easy to follow in the beginning, which is a nice change of pace for an AC game, however it becomes very convoluted and confusing in the last hour. The music is very hit or miss, with some songs being genuinely impressive and others sounding like they came straight out of a Mario game. In my opinion, ACL is one of the most underrated AC games and would definitely recommend buying AC3R just to play it, if you haven't already. Overall, 7/10.

One of the worst PC ports I've ever played, except for maybe Saints Row 2. The game will randomly crash every hour or so. While missions have checkpoints where you can reload if you die, you can't reload these if you crash and restart the game for some reason. This means you'll have to play missions over and over again and hope you make it through the mission fast enough to not crash. Side missions are repetitive and basically involve just doing side activities around a city, and 90% of them are exactly the same as the activities in Saints Row 3. The setting is almost exactly the same, too. Almost every side mission and main mission is boring, and just involves going somewhere, blowing something up, and killing things, over and over again.

This game isn't for people new to Saints Row because the entire game and the """funny""" parts are just references to past games. It also isn't for fans of the games because it's just Saints Row 3 but more boring and less polished. The only good things I have to say are that it had some moments that genuinely made me laugh and almost all of the characters are likeable. Also, the two DLC missions "Enter the Dominatrix" and "The Saints Save Christmas" are kind of enjoyable, but are only about 1-2 hours each. Only buy SR4 if it's below $5 or so.

3/10 overall.

The game crashes every hour or so and will randomly corrupt every save you have.

Outer Worlds is very good overall. The game does have really great writing, the combat feels good, it looks good and runs good, and almost every character is likeable. Also, every voice actor in the game, as far as I could tell, doesn't voice more than three characters total, unlike Skyrim or New Vegas where it feels like every man and woman has the same voice, and every single elf has the same voice. This makes the game way more immersive. The environments and locations are also really unique and creative.

The game feels a bit more shallow than Fallout: New Vegas or KOTOR 2 (other games by Oblivion) however. I feel Outer Worlds focuses less on world-building and character development with your companions than past games. For example, New Vegas allowed you to really dive into each faction and explore their backgrounds and philosophical views, and the KOTOR games had tons of bickering between your companions, but there isn't really any of that here. There just isn't a sense of discovery that exists in other RPGs. Your character doesn't really even have a backstory. Somebody asks, "why are you trying to help [so-and-so] do [spoilers]?" and your only responses are "I just want to" and "I care about my family." While the facial animations are the best I've ever seen in a game by Oblivion, Bethesda, Bioware, etc, the gameplay feels shallow at times. There's three ammo types; light, heavy, and energy, and four weapon types; melee, handguns, long guns, and heavy guns, along with gimmicky "science" weapons.

Overall, 9/10. I would only recommend it if it was on sale for around $40 or cheaper, or if you're a huge fan of Oblivion games, Fallout Games, or the KOTOR games.

The game runs in windowed mode by default with no way to change it to full screen. Just buy the original version.
