This is the most fun I've had in a video game for the past few years, and it sets a new standard for what a live service game should be. The game is a reasonable price—but is worth more in my opinion—and monetization is not shoved down your throat. Plus, the "battlepasses" can be easily purchased with currency earned in game.

The major order system is one of the best parts of this game and one that keeps me coming back. When the community is ordered to attack specific planets to permanently unlock new weapons, or when orders come out to defend against an attack under threat of the enemy mutating and permanently changing; I actively want to join in and participate in the spreading of managed democracy.

The community was successful in convincing Sony to reverse their stupid decision to require a PSN account months after the game's release, which would have prevented many of our fellow divers from playing a game they purchased.

Excellent visuals, high-quality soundtrack, interesting story, exceptional platforming. I've died a good amount, but the platforming is not difficult just to be difficult; the game continues to teach you new mechanics and ways to use the mechanics you already have.

Basically a modern Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Increased coaster layout precision, voxel-based terrain editing, flexible building creation, and Steam Workshop support.

Exactly what I wanted.

The entire game is based around a single simple mechanic — solving maze puzzles — which it twists and warps as you move throughout the open-world map, resulting in some of the most interesting and innovative mechanics ever in a puzzle game. The game doesn't hold your hand and it doesn't tell you anything; you must learn the world's rules through experience and thought, and it's significantly more satisfying as a result. There will be moments when you want to get out of your chair and yell "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, NO WAY".

This is a very difficult and long game, and it's not for the impatient or faint of heart. Satisfaction comes from investment.

Better than the first, honestly. The translation has less cheesy dialogs and the main character is less of an emo child. It also lacks the same level of romance, but the new characters are very likable and make up for it.
