Probably the best hyper-fast open-world traversal I've ever seen. Plus the fun weapons Insomniac is known for. Dialogue is a little cringy and feels like comedy written by corporate commitee, but ultimately a super fun time. Turn off steam cloud bc there is a glitch that creates a corrupted save file

Beautiful and intricate story about pain, spirituality, and acceptance. The puzzles rely on lateral visual thinking for solutions and are rewarding without requiring too much of a time investment.

Like Katamari Damacy, except instead of a starchild with a ball you're a horrible raccoon with a hole.

Wonderfully surreal interactive soundtrack to an acid dream soundtrack I never knew I had. No, seriously, I have no idea how this game ended up in my library. Not mad about it.

It's very charming but I wouldn't buy it at full price. Appropriately enough for LEGO, this is more of a toy or interactive animation rather than a full fledged game.

Yes, the bricks look better than they do in real life (although there were a few flickering issues on my 2060), and yes, that was the main reason I picked it up.

In regards to the actual game, though, it's not much more developed than a browser game from the early 2000s LEGO website. Pretty short, and the actual puzzles are (literally) child's play. Playing with a mouse felt "sticky", which was frustrating for the few sections with time-based elements. I could see that aspect being much improved with a touchscreen, but then I'd be sacrificing the beautiful implementation of RTX.

Still, considering this is the studio's first effort as a (semi) independent company, I'm really hoping they do something more with the tech they developed for this game. A creative sandbox, or even just a more fully realized puzzle game with these graphics would be delightful.

Basically, a 1-on-1 D&D session with Anthony Skordi as your DM. Got it at half price, worth it just for his performance alone.

Early Access Review
The Fermi Paradox is an interactive storyline generator with far-reaching science and historical fiction themes. In its current state I would describe it as a more RNG-heavy mashup of 80 Days and Fate Of The World (although not as deep as either). Early access is obvious in a few spots, especially the undercooked and buggy UI, but the Discord is plenty active and the devs are implementing community-submitted fixes and events, which gives me hope that this will be seeing a lot more polish. My main wish is that the resource system becomes a little more strategic, but the writing is still the main draw.

Also you can make cybernetic dolphinstronauts evolve on Earth instead of people, so

Incredible scope and highly addictive, especially if you like games like Factoriobor Satisfactory. Full 3D and damn near complete for being in early access.
