I had heard it was great. I had friends tell me this game was amazing. I've gone through it, 100%. It's phenomenal. Story was really great, and the game does a good job of leaving you hints and breadcrumbs that are tied together in the final Act. There's a ton of emotion throughout the story, most of it really somber/melancholy in tone, so just be ready for that going in.

I also didn't expect to enjoy NG+, but I was proven wrong - there's a lot of things throughout the story that, with the new context you've received, reveal a ton.

My biggest gripes are that there's not a quick "retry" button for when you fail a battle/minigame. This has been changed with a new update! I also really did not enjoy that minigame, you'll know it when you play it. While I can appreciate that they're clunky as design, as a callback to similar games like FF, I'm still going to dislike that minigame.

This is not regular Elden Ring. I still enjoy it, especially with friends. It's definitely more of a roguelitey experience with a learning curve (also I'm trash so mine was steeper). Each character's got strengths and weaknesses, but I think they're all viable.

It's a short game, but boy oh boy it is a blast! 10/10 would be a silly neon FlyKnight again

You do the shooty shoot, and sometimes the buildings explode. It's great!

Loads of fun, and every bit as ridiculous as you would expect from a game called "Squirrel with a Gun".

Certainly tough, but exceedingly rewarding. Also you can creampie your friends, creampie your enemies, you can even creampie yourself!

Use the umbrella and never switch. You'll thank me later.
