Have you ever wanted to simulate numerous crimes against humanity, experience the horrors of war and feel what it's truly like to be a soldier. Well, this game can do that, and that's the reason I and many others have played this game. However, expecting that to happen is a bad idea. A combination of a jank physics engine, dumb players and a malicious Zeus means you will probably not have the full military experience.

However, that doesnt make Arma a bad game, far from it. Player interaction and the sheer scale of an 8 year old game with decent enough graphics makes it a blast to play. Arma 3 units become a group of close nit dumbasses who joined for the milsim and stayed for the community (probably). Modding is mandatory, vanilla Arma is expensive and no where near as content rich. Trust me, thousands of hours of entertainment await if you hit the right note with this game.

You can also play on public lobbies and experience war crime induced aneurysms and metal insanity through KOTH and Invade and Annex. You could join the ranks of a questionable resistance. Or you could simulate the state of Florida in Altis life (dont). Or you could destroy your will to live while making missions for friends to play, only for them and dumbass AI to ruin your perfectly laid plans.
