Absolutely recommended, it takes what made the first game great, but up to eleven, while also fixing many of the issues I had with the first game. Take that, and being an RPG while making fun of the JRPG tropes, I love it :D

An awesome remake of an awesome classic game from the late 90's, this is how you do a remake of an RPG :D

One of the better games for 2023 for sure, it was hyped up and it definitely delivered, highly recommended to those who grew up in the 16-bit era :D

Highly recommended but with some caveats. The game or rather, the port, has some issues with VRAM usage is out of whack. Proceed with caution. Wait for a major update.

As someone who never played the original, I'm getting hooked, and the various difficulty levels definitely helps get into the game. Also I should note, the PC port is solid, Capcom did a good job and other "AAA" developers should really put more concerted effort into their PC ports.

Never really played the original version (I've mostly seen videos) but this? This game is right up my alley, a good remake and fixes many issues the original combat system had. Highly recommended for FFVII fans :D

An awesome game, not for everyone of course, but as far as storytelling goes it's freaking awesome. Also regards to the English dub? It's among some of the best, and I usually opt for the Japanese with English subtitles, but this is the exception :D

An excellent port for sure, finally on Steam and no longer locked on the unnecessary Battle.net that forces an always online connection for a single player game! This alone made me double dip and get it on PC a second time, because I can finally play it offline :D

A late review, yes, I know lol. But that said, this game is absolutely oozing with Miyazaki charm, I feel this game to be vastly superior to the second one in the series, but that's just me.

An excellent open world game no longer locked to Sony consoles, finally arrives on PC. Been having a lot of fun, but there are caveats, especially when having raytracing enabled. It is VERY CPU intensive, and you need a good rig to run it at 1080 or 1440p 60 fps, which I tried to do. It's too much for my RTX 3060 TI and Core i7 9700K, so I disabled it, upped the framerate to 120 fps and I haven't gone back since. Buttery smooth once I disabled RT.
