Yeah I mean it's an overall fairly solid game.

There are a few nitpicky things I have frustrations with, but I think revamping the tutorial and making it more clear would really solve my issue.

Otherwise yeah it's just solid nothing particularly groundbreaking but it's fun so there you go. Haven't had a chance to try it in MP but I'm sure it could get very hectic quickly in a large lobby.

Man, I really really wanted to like this but I'm just going to go back to 8.9 or base WBC3 instead.

The counter system really needs to go, it's just not a system I think belongs and if I wanted one I could just go play AoE2. Even outside of that there are egregious examples of units you wouldn't really know are one type or not such as slimes being spearmen... what? Or Iron Golems for Dark Dwarves I think were also spearmen.

The economy changes are a bit of a mixed bag I don't particularly feel one way or another about it but uhh unit abilities costing crystals is all fine and good however their costs are so prohibitively high that there is almost no point using a lot of them oh and resource gain caps at +30 I'm not sure why that caps.

There just overall seems to be a lot of bloat and sure yes some of these things CAN be turned off. Such as upkeep or item durability ect., but like... why even have these features?

Maybe in a patch or two my opinion will completely change but for now it is what it is. But hey it's free so you should at least try it because you know... this is just my opinion.

This simple game is surprisingly addictive, seriously it's a ton of fun just hop off that fence and buy it. I promise it is simpler to play than you suspect and has a little more going than you think.

I've also found as I get older I'm going more towards city builders and such, getting old feelsbadman but this game makes the inevitability of time suck less.

I was gonna post something about Zeus not letting me hit that "Zussy" but like... this game is really really good and you should get it. Total oldie but goldie.

Don't bother with this, it's really really just bad quality. Controls and controller support is also horribad ranging from a chore to just outright hosed.
