I'm mostly just reviewing because I have exactly 66.6 hours. It's a good game with a good story, multiplayer is extremely difficult for a noob like me and most of the time I get mercd by someone playing either Anakin or Vader. Is also occasionally buggy but I have an old PC so idk

Pros: Has the feel of old-school multiplayer FPS games like Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament, but with the added elements from the SCP Universe. If you're a fan of that universe or classic FPS games then it will be entertaining to see some of the fan-favorites brought to life in game. For the most part all the SCPs featured are true to lore within the limits of what is possible to engineer in an indie game of this type, and playing as them is immensely entertaining (especially when you're winning). The gameplay is fun and engaging, with a randomized approach that makes no two rounds the same. The game is consistently updated by the devs too so for the most part it's constantly improving.

Cons: For starters, if you're one of the rare few like me who's an actual girl and plays games like this, there are no female models. On top of that the community is almost entirely made up of adolescent males, or guys who behave as such. Racism, homophobia and transphobia are rampant, as is consistent trolling, and for the most part no one will even believe you are actually a girl and everyone will refer to you as male. In that regard, it is one of the most non-inclusive multiplayer games I have ever played. While little can be done about the broad community aside from vigilant moderators on private servers doing their jobs (and there *are* good people who play this game), it would be nice if the devs could at least incorporate female models into the game for a more inclusive space. It's incredibly confining the way it is now. Then again, I'm sure a majority of the boys that play would just play as a girl 'for the lulz' or whatever and just make things even more confusing, and nothing would change. Can't fix toxic masculinity I guess.

Pros:
The story is amazing, well written and well executed. The acting is phenomenal and the mo-cap makes it feel like I'm watching a film during the cutscenes. There's tons of stuff to explore and collect and each world has numerous areas. All in I felt like this was almost a Star Wars RPG. Almost.

Cons:
The combat system can be difficult to master at first. The game is definitely designed around controller support but has an imperfect UI. For instance, I use a PS4 controller and it constantly gives me Xbox button prompts which gets really confusing. I've tried troubleshooting the problem several times to no effect. On top of that, there seems to be a common issue involving screen tearing and massive lag, usually when loading a new area. Further research revealed to me that people with PCs far superior to mine have had this issue.

All things considered I'd say despite its flaws EA finally got it right after the disaster of the Battlefront series. The way the game is set up though forces the player to repeatedly backtrack, which if you're the kind of player that likes to do that then cool but I personally find it annoying, as I'd rather just have the ability to clear each planet on the first visit, but like I said, it's still worth playing and as far as the story goes I can't wait for a sequel.

Been playing Halo since CE came out back in 2001, was just a kid. I grew up with this franchise. It shaped my childhood. It shaped modern gaming. Now that its on PC as one collection I can't help but sink my time into it.

That said, at the time I'm writing this they don't have the entire series on PC yet. There's also no Forge Mode and no splitscreen multiplayer. Co-op campaigns cant be matchmade you have to actually have friends. so yeah, limits. Not the full experience but it'll get there. It's worth the wait, and there's plenty to do in the meantime.

This is one of three games in my life that I pre-ordered. Been playing since 2011 and everytime I start a new playthrough I end up seeing something I hadn't seen before, even now. Love it, always have, always end up coming back to it.

Played this way back in the day when it first came out, new to the PC version. Always thought this was one of R*'s unsung titles, even in the face of it's age and more notable titles like GTA and Red Dead Redemption. This game had a certain wit to it and lacked any means for R* to leave a sour taste later (such as their unyieilding response to the modding community in GTAO and the unfortunate people who have had their characters deleted or been permabanned even if they weren't guilty). All in all I've thoroughly enjoyed this game over the years and have gone back and played it several times over. Would recommend.

For starters I'd like to say that as a game in and of itself I love GTA 5. What I hate is Rockstar.

I got auto-banned for no other reason than being in the same lobby as blatant hackers, something I have no control over when loading in. I was banned for an entire month. I finally come back and my one character with all my progress was completely deleted. All that work, all that time, all that money spent, gone. ♥♥♥♥ Rockstar.
