This game is so bloated with old vestigial content and so filled with desperate, angry players that its hard to imagine what keeps the hundreds of thousands of players across all platforms coming back season after season. I don't know if I can answer that. I personally love the combat, the art style, the effects, the sounds, the power fantasy of it, the lore, the enemies, and so much of the community surrounding the game. There's this pervasive feeling of "something big" about everything that happens and what it all implies or leads to that I just cant keep myself from seeing where the story goes next, There's always gonna be issues with content releasing in a debatable state where everyone and their mother has some stupid way to instantly fix all the issues but I still love the experience of doing things and going places and hearing this huge story that the writers obviously put a lot of heart into and the devs obviously worked their asses off to make. It saddens me to know how much of the games issues were the fault of leadership and studio mishandling of resources and people. I hope the devs get treated better and the game gets treated just as good.
