A diamond in rough of an RPG.

During it's launch and following some patches it has had some issues with bugs, but that's starting to clear up now. It's also not too well-optimized, especially in crowded situations.

Beyond this the game itself is amazing. It has most of the classic RPG elements, but has a lot of unique things that makes it stand out from the rest. The combat is very intense and makes you actually feel in danger. Getting ambushed by 3 enemies in the woods can be cause for actual panic, not just another NPC to kill for loot. Something else they really nailed is the forest and wild life. Of all the RPGs I've played this is the one where I feel the most like I'm in the wild. The armor sytem is very original and interesting as well, with it's multiple layers system that gives a lot of variety to loot system.

I could go on about various aspects of the game, but it's definitely a recommended buy from me. I look forward to seeing the game get more and more polished as the developers work on it, as well as the additional after-release content that is yet to come.
