Hello, and welcome to my Steam profile! :lunar2019wavingpig: As you may have guessed, I'm a complete gaming nerd. I used to be a fan of Nintendo, but not anymore, although I still like some of their IPs like Super Mario and Star Fox. I also have accounts on Discord, PlayStation, Xbox, and Ubisoft. I can bore you to tears on anything Doctor Who, Bionicle, DC Comics, technological, or anything overtly Christian.

So, why Timbrwulf? This is in reference to Thomas Timberwolf, the last cartoon series developed by the late cartoon legend, Chuck Jones. It's also one of the first internet-based cartoons. The complete series is on Internet Archive for free viewing - look it up!

Yes, I've blocked comments from anyone who is not "friended". I don't allow comments on my profile, mainly because I don't want people spamming my profile. I like a clean profile. If you want to talk to me on Steam, join one of my groups! If you send me a friend request, I might not accept until I get to know you better... and even then, I might not accept. I'm very picky about that on Steam.

Wanna chat? Feel free to get in touch with me via Discord and Mastodon to nerd out over gaming, old TV shows, tech, movies, and deep stuff like non-religious Christian principles! I currently only converse in text to strangers, so please don't ask for face reveal, video chat, etc. or you may get blocked by me.

Please note: I should warn you - I do not type words just to please the masses, so some of what I say may not exactly be pleasant, but I always try to be honest. I also am very much human, and can say things I don't truly mean or that is inaccurate. I'm constantly striving to seek truth and forge better friendships - let's grow together! :lunar2019grinningpig:

Also please note: Not everything I show off on my profile may be child appropriate. Some games, artwork, etc. may contain suggestive themes, mild language, and some violence or suggested violence. Even so, I've become more cautious on what I allow on my Steam profile, so you'l find nothing gory or outright pornographic here!

Finally, please be careful when you check out other people whose art I've favorited or who comments on my posts! The Steam Community has plenty of folks who upload and say... well, not very good things. I have run across plenty of nasty art and disrespectful comments by people who have little to no scruples. While I personally do not promote such behavior, it's not really against Steam's rules unless it's trolling or outright illegal activity; if you run across a profile doing such, I say pray for them.

About TGif Gamer
"Love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:12b-13 HCSB

What is TGif Gamer?
TGif Gamer is Timothy Green's (Doctor Timbrwulf) own gamer presence online, sharing his thoughts on popular video games, movies, TV shows, and tech gadgets!

What can I expect from TGif Gamer?
Through Steam and Discord, you can connect with Tim and other gamers to stream games, watch geeky videos, talk about Tim's nerd obsessions and faith in Christ, and even get free giveaways of digital goods! Types of content and promotions will vary depending on the situation at hand.

How can I connect with TGif Gamer?
➡️ Steam Chat: https://steamproxy.net/chat/invite/OcD46N2B
Our Steam Group is currently on an invite-only basis. You're welcome to ask for membership, but we can't guarantee approval.
➡️ Public Discord: https://discord.gg/JFA5zkBSrc
Our Discord server is open to everyone! Please read the rules upon joining.

Is TGif Gamer family-friendly?
TGif Gamer services and content are predominantly geared towards an adult audience . This may mean some content with suggestive themes (artistic nudity, revealing clothing, or implied adult situations), violent references (some blood or cartoon violence), or mild language (damn, hell, etc.) is present within some forms of content (all of which depends on what is covered, i.e. which games or other mediums are discussed or shown).

Even so, we (as in Tim, his family and friends, and anyone allowed to moderate) take great care to avoid showing off NSFW content, such as excessive blood and gore, pornography, or explicit language (like slurs, F-bombs and S-bombs), as we want to set ourselves apart from the world and teach against these things in a somewhat humorous, yet to-the-point matter. Therefore, while we do not recommend TGif Gamer for kids, it should be safe for teens and adults (we strongly encourage parents of teens to be involved).

I'm interested in enhancing TGif Gamer services! How can I get involved?
As of right now, TGif Gamer is not monetized nor popular, so we don't have any means of contact other than what is already provided (that we are willing to share). If you are interested in helping out, your best bet is a DM to Tim on Discord right now.

Currently, we are not accepting financial offers or any form of sponsorship. This organization and all of its services are free to use, and we feel that making people pay for stuff would cripple the experience, and even stifle the ability to reach out and help others. That said, individual members may support other organizations or charities monetarily, but this is not strictly related to TGif Gamer and is on a person-to-person basis. In short, they are deciding to do so; it's not because TGif Gamer is making them do so.

FINALLY finished the game... by cheating. I should explain why I did this.

...But first, about the game itself. You're a furry character named Sybil, who is sent to Castle Sansa in order to obtain five keys and figure out what is going on. This game takes on the style of Nintendo 64 games, a homage to the console and it's low-polygon aesthetics. It looks and plays cool, and I really appreciated the character and level designs.

Unfortunately, it suffers a bit from improperly-designed levels and maps. I do enjoy a good 3D platformer, though I have to admit that pulling off some of the moves (or is it "schmooves"? The Pseudoregalia community is weird) was, if you'll pardon the expression, damn near impossible. My horrible 3D platforming skills aside, I was easily confused by the maps. I felt like I was wandering to the same areas over and over, which reminds me of something I heard once, that stupidity is repeating something that you know won't work.

I understand that Rittzler wanted people to explore the levels, which is why he didn't add a map until years later, but IMHO there should be a better way to lay out what you need to do in order so you don't end up looking stupid and just wasting a bunch of time wandering. I am used to games like the Legend of Zelda, where you not only found a compass telling you where items were, but you also have a clear goal without much wandering - get a key, open a dungeon, explore the dungeon, kill the boss, get the next key, rinse and repeat. This game has five major keys with no clear order in mind, and many smaller keys which can open ANY unopened door, leaving you scratching your head over where you need to go next. Not only that, but you can end up spending many days playing this thing (the 16 hours I've played this game was accumulated over FOUR MONTHS) before you finally can open the big door.

Thankfully, this game supports modding, and I installed the Free Camera mod, which allows me to quite literally warp to any point in a level, even outside of the level's boundaries, and thus I basically cheated to get the remaining two keys and open the door. I don't have the patience nor the fortitude to play for as long as it takes without cheating to reach the end of the game, and I find it a bit disappointing that Pseudoregalia doesn't have a better, more organized structure.

Even so, I can still recommend it because, despite the lack of good level structure, it looks and plays amazing, and I find it a huge plus that it supports mods out of the box. There's even a level randomizer mod that I'd like to try! I just wish the base game was better thought out.

I'm still going to try Electrokinetic whenever it comes out, and I'll even test some of Rittz' other projects on itch.io. Here's hoping he can finish the unfinished games he's teasing us all with! 😁

I've ended up refavoriting (sp?) some artwork I had already favorited from another uploader; I suspect some people downloaded the images from the original artists and reuploaded them. I'll have to sort through it later to weed out the copies.

As for the art itself, some of it might be seen as risque (i.e. some pics with Sybil from Pseudoregalia, or pics featuring the singles from Stardew Valley), but IMO is nowhere near pornographic. I do not knowingly favorite art from artists who depict porn in any works, nor do I approve of such art. For example, I am currently boycotting artwork from Aroma Sensei, as much of his art leads to outright pornographic situations.
