fun bnuuy game

Very fun. I wish the default avatars looked less creepy; only the premium avatars look decent. Also I'm not sure why the minimum player count to start a game is 4; this game does not feel remotely balanced unless you have 6+ players.

Fun game. The combat system has a lot of depth, and the customizability of party members is great. Good music too. The plot is relatively predictable but still entertaining. The story pacing is good and the game length is reasonable. The game isn't perfect: the dungeon designs are pretty boring, the graphics are mediocre, there are too many loading screens, and the game balance could be better, but nothing is egregious enough to not recommend this game.

Pretty disappointing game. The pawn system is the best implementation of asynchronous multiplayer I've seen in any video game, but everything else left a lot to be desired. The plot was pretty boring; there were a couple of exciting parts but most of it (including the ending) was pretty bland. The side quests were okay but nothing to get excited about; the "escort this NPC" quests were particularly bad. Exploration was not as rewarding as I would have liked; it was generally pretty difficult to come across gear that was stronger than the stuff purchasable from shops. There is little enemy variety and it felt like I was fighting the same reskinned damage sponges over and over through the whole game, since I never really needed to change my playstyle when fighting any enemy. The game also didn't respect my time very much; the overall lack of fast travel points (why doesn't the 2nd big city have one?!) was very weird. My ox cart getting attacked for the first time was cool, but it was frustrating when it happened for the 5th time. I kept playing this game until the end because it felt like it had a lot of potential throughout, but felt betrayed by the end when very little of it paid off.

Very disappointed that they locked post-game content behind DLC. But you're going to play it anyway if you've played everything else in the series.
